Very hot hike, but the views were amazing. If I did this one again, I would probably go in the morning. The raft trip itself is pretty easy, only one Class III rapid. This house was great. Beautiful views. Stocked kitchen. Clean. My family of 6 had a great time. We had an issue with the oven not working and the team was very attentive in trying to get it up and running for us. Would recommend.

Gorgeous Home!

The home was beautiful and comfy. We had a deer that came by every morning to munch on some tall grass. We would definitely rent again. My favorite thing was how peaceful it was.

Best Place

What an amazing property. I will come again for sure. It's so beautiful and close to so much fun stuff. I really love this place. So much room. Each room was so spacious and comfortable. The common area was very inviting and spaced out so that all people wether cooking or hanging out were all pretty much in the same room causing a really family and friendly feel to the experience. The communication with the management company is FIRST CLASS. I could not be happier with our stay.

A beautiful home and location, just the break we needed!

This beautiful home was exactly what our small family of four needed, a break from the hustle and bustle in a incredible environment with all of the amenities of home. The house was just as expected, clean, welcoming, and had everything we needed to start enjoying ourselves from the moment we stepped in the door. When we weren't relaxing on the porch enjoying the view we were spending time together playing games, watching 90s movies, hiking, and checking out the hot springs and the town around Pagosa Springs. Our hosts were accessible, easy to contact if needed, and provided all of the information we ever needed to have a stress free trip. They certainly made sure their favorite place is now also one of ours.

Great place in the mountains to get away from it all!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Communication with the property managers was perfect. We arrived to beautiful views and a pristine home. One item to note for future renters - the downstairs master bedroom was a little noisy --- it was next to the hot tub that ran continuously and you could hear every footstep in the kitchen above. Not a huge deal but if you are a light sleeper, it might be an issue. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful stay

This really is a beautiful place with all amenities one could want. Outside fireplace and hot tub are great. kitchen and bedrooms great. internet is fine. there is limited cell service and thus didnt get Itrip text notifications immediately when sent. but they were responsive. we have had our group rent a place the last 4 summers and this was hands down the nicest spot so far

Great spot!

We loved out time at this property. It was comfortable and inviting. We soaked in the gorgeous views and spent time together. Access to town with lots to do during the daywas a great juxtaposition to the remoteness we craved for the evenings and mornings. It was quite warm while we were there. Having lived in climates w/out central air during different times in my life that wasn't a problem except for the fact many of the windows do not stay open. The property manager was quick to bring extra fans but I'd have appreciated knowing about the windows before booking.

The Best of Pagosa

Our group has stayed in Pagosa every October for the last few years. This is by far the best property we have had the pleasure of staying at. The drive from town is beautiful, not too long, and yet long enough to let us feel the full ‘cabin in the woods’ atmosphere. The spaces are perfectly designed for group enjoyment, and the serenity both at night and during the day is incredible. The view is indescribable. It’s almost as if you hiked a mountain, slept on the top, then every day woke up looking out over the world.. that’s the daily sensation when looking out through the living room windows. 11/10. Thank you, hosts, for an amazing and unforgettable stay.

Perfect Stay for Family of 6

The house and property are even more beautiful in person. It has everything you need and there is plenty of room for a family of 6. It's clear that the owners are striving for perfection. Things we enjoyed in the area Fire pit and star gazing evenings at the house Hot Air Balloon ride Pagosa Springs Rodeo Fishing and SUP at Williams Reservoir Tubing the San Juan Short hike at Treasure Falls

Lovely home

Our family of five just returned home after our stay. I want to go back!! Everything you need to have a comfortable stay. I was concerned about not having an air conditioner but the open windows and fans were sufficient. The house is about a 12-15 minute drive off the main road. This was fine for us because we were always in before dark and the drive is beautiful.

Beautiful home and location!

We loved everything about this home! The house was unique and beautifully decorated. The view was amazing and the wildlife was so much fun! It had everything we needed for cooking meals at home and lots of games/books for entertainment. We would 100% recommend staying here!

Amazing cabin with amazing views

Me and my family have been in colorado for vacations 10 times and this cabin has been by far the best cabin we have ever rented, the cabin itself it’s amazing and the location and views are so awesome, we will be back and rent this cabin for sure. Communication with property manager was very efficient and fast response.

The property is a dream!

This is my first time seeing real snow and the property in late March was blanketed in gorgeous white snow!! The house is unbelievable! And to top it all off i got engaged on the stunning porch at night with the fairy lights on and it even started to snow! Memories i made here i will never forget!

Very nice house with good kitchen - green hot tub

Overall we were happy with our stay here, other than the items I mention at the end of this review. The rooms were comfortable, and the kitchen was very well appointed for a vacation rental. Linens were clean and fresh, and there were some decent spices and essentials in the kitchen. The house is a bit chopped up, and funky. There really is only 1 bedroom with an attached bathroom, which is on the ground floor. The other bedroom downstairs and the upstairs two bedrooms all use the bathroom upstairs. It’s odd, but fine for 3 or 4 days. We booked our stay for Christmas, and we paid a high premium for doing so. So I was truly disappointed to find a dirty green hot tub that had not been cleaned or changed in a long time. You can tell this is a running issue as they have signs in the house saying “Absolutely no refunds for problems with the hot tub”. I asked the property manager to address the hot tub and they said they would send someone over to clean it that day, and change out the water after we leave. Well the hot tub stayed nasty green during our entire stay, and we dared not enter it once. This happens to all hot tubs that are ignored. But more annoying was the numerous texts I received saying how much anything but a 5 star review meant I had an awful stay. Also, annoying was they they said they would offer me some kind of credit for the hot tub but never did. I messaged them recently asking about it and they said oh I’m sorry we had a problem, we’ll get that taken care of today. Days later still no credit. It’s all fine, we don’t really care about a credit, but we do care about things being misrepresented. And we got a little of they with this stay. I just think the Managmement company in charge of this rental is overwhelmed so details on a nice house like this one can get missed during the busy season. So 4 stars it is.

beautiful setting, beautiful home

Radiant floor heating kept this home warm and toasty on frosty nights. Big windows gave stunning views. Kitchen was clean and well stocked. The big kitchen was very nice for having dinners. The rooms were cozy and clean. It is a rural home, off the beaten path with a septic system. Rural and country and yet pampered type feel. I would definitely stay again.
