"We were down with family for the Big Sur Marathon. The home fit 6 of us very comfortably (4 adults and 2 kids) and would have been fine with the 2 more adults that were expected to come but could not make it. The kids loved running around in the backyard and we enjoyed an evening around the fire pit. The location is great with the ocean just a few steps away and getting into Monterrey in just a few minutes. Will definitely look to see if this house is available again on our next visit!"

"You cannot beat the location and views of this property. Everything in Monterey is walkable and the walk/bike along the Bay in the other direction towards Carmel goes as far as you can walk/bike. You can walk to dinner at a dozen restaurants in Monterey as well as the grocery store. We watched the sunset from the front patio. Great location. "

"We loved Barb’s place so much. Very clean and cozy. Perfect for my husband and I to visit Carmel and surrounding areas. Comfy bed and nice amenities. All of Barb’s restaurant recommendations were spot on. Favorite being Dametra Cafe and least being Misson Ranch. Cooler weather than I expected in June, and always windy so needed jackets daily.
