The moment I checked-in, I was awed by the cleanliness of the whole house, and the host actually welcomed me with complimentary bottle of wine, crackers and some cheese spread. They also provided me amply towels and beach towels as well. The interior is also very nice, you can tell the owner had upgraded the home. The location is awesome with only 1 block to the Lover's Point Beach. Also 3 blocks to downtown Pacific Grove where there are many nice restaurants to choose. The neighborhood is very safe, I walked my dog at 9-10 pm with no issue. My only warning is if you drive a big suv like me, it might be little tight to park at the off street parking spot provided (I made it, but very tight)

Clean, comfortable, and cute home right in the heart of Pacific Grove with ample amenities (plenty of plates, cups, etc., even a bottle of wine waiting for us!). Our family walked almost everywhere (minutes from coffee and restaurants, 20 min to the aquarium). Would love to stay again!

We loved our stay! The house was very clean, well-stocked, and just a block from the beach—so convenient with two toddlers. We even walked to the aquarium using the trail nearby. The thoughtful touches like the wine, cheese, and welcome note made it extra special. Highly recommend!

Charming surfside villa in a quaint PG neighborhood, loved the proximity to Lighthouse St amenities and to Lovers Point. A wonderful walk to Monterey along the beach.

Wedding in May

We reserved 5 houses for the first weekend in May 2025 for family coming to Pacific Grove. They were all coming for our wedding! We held the ceremony and reception in our backyard on 19th street and it was great to have them just a few blocks away. We had family and friends from10 different states, most visiting PG for the first time. Your house was instrumental in creating a great 1st impression to PG for these 1st time visitors.The houses were perfect and only a 5 minute walk to our house on 19th street where the wedding and reception were held. Most guests stayed several days as the accommodations were so comfortable.Your house was perfect! We needed places for out of town friends and family states in the US, to be comfortable and to be able to easily walk to shops, restaurants and our home easily. We found and reserved 5 VRBO houses within a 5 minute walk to our cottage.Your home specifically was used by our 4 adult sisters and 2 brothers in law. It was heaven to them as they could be on the beach in minutes, walking, to fun, adorable shops full of adorable gifts, a well stocked grocery store with a historic look about it, to restaurants of all specialties, all less than a 5 minute walk.Your home was comfortable,with beautiful as well as functional furnishings.Check in was easy, your house was well cared for, clean and contained most items someone could hope for in a B&B

Great House- responsive management

This house is great- exactly as pictured and comfortably fit 5 adults. Conveniently located for activities in Carmel, Monterey and a short stroll to the coast in Pacific Grove. We were surprised to find the washer/dryer not working but management made sure our laundry was taken care of. Would stay here again.

Luxury beach bungalow house in Pacific Grove

This house is a beautiful beach bungalow style home that feels brand new inside and perfectly appointed with everything you will need. The home is located on a quiet residential street with historic cottages all around, and just a 5-minute walk to the beautiful Lover's Point Beach Park and trail. The town of pacific Grove with great restaurants and cute stores is also a 5 minute walk, and the neighborhood is very quiet and feels very safe and welcoming. The house offers off-street parking for a small car, and Cannery Row is just about a mile away that you can easily access by bike or by foot on the paved trail along the water. The home has three nice sized bedrooms and 2 nicely appointed bathrooms and a large living room and nice kitchen, and my only suggestion would be to have at least a queen-sized bed in the primary bedroom as double beds are in all three bedrooms and feel small for two adults. Overall, a fantastic home that we would definitely return to!

4th of July/20th Wedding Anniversary

My family and I were so impressed with this rental that we hope to book it again next year! It was clean, it's proximity to both the beach as well as old town PG was amazing, and we were even able to walk to the aquarium! The home is well stocked with what you may need, beds were comfy, and the kitchen was nice to have to avoid eating out for every meal.

Great Small Home

This was our first time staying at a house in Pacific Grove and it turned out great. The three bedrooms worked greaat for the three generations of our family. The home is somewhat small but it worked very well, even when another family joined us for dinner at the house one evening. The location is fantastic, between the bay and the restaurants and shops on Lighthouse Ave. We even walked to the Aquarium.

Sweetest beach cottage with all amenities and comforts.

Surf’s Up beach cottage in Pacific Grove is a magical place to stay. Comfortable, clean with all the comforts of home. Walking distance to Lovers Point, restaurants and shops. And management by Sanctuary Vacation Rentals was classy. They greet you with the warmest touches!!!!
