We had a nice stay, but there could be improvements
We are avid travelers, and love using vrbo to stay as a family. We also rent our own property on vrbo, so we have been on both sides of the rental process. We picked this home because of the themed bedrooms, proximity to Orlando, game room, and pool/spa.When we arrived, check in was easy and our codes worked fine. We loved the themed rooms, and the kids were so happy to be able to pick their bedrooms. While we were looking around the house though, we noticed a lot of damage and wear on the property. The carpet was absolutely not to our cleanliness standards with stains throughout the home. Some of the furniture was broken, and even the air hockey table was unusable. There were no directions for turning on the games or navigating, and it took quite some time for us to figure out the system (some of which was in chinese). A simple instruction sheet would be helpful. The movie theatre lighting was broken and made a horrible noise when you turned it on, so we couldn't use that either.The pool and spa were very clean and functioned as expected. The extra fee to heat the pool seemed to be ridiculous, but we did pay it to have the convenience of warm water. It took me several tries to get Nova to take my money for this though, as no one would return my emails leading up to the rental.The kitchen, dining, and living area were nice, and there was a lot of room to house our family of 8. Overall I wish the property was better maintained. The home could be amazing.
