The weather was nice when we were in FL however coming from freezing temps in the Midwest, 72 inside is very warm & stuffy. Above the thermostat, there was a card stating that if the temp was turned below 72, the HVAC would "freeze". It also stated if maintenance was needed, we "may" be responsible for whatever cost this may incur. There was also info on the card stating the HVAC works best with the doors & windows closed. I feel like this relates more to summer. It was often much cooler/nicer outside than it was in the house. We were provided 3 rolls of one-ply toilet paper for a week stay with 7 people so BYO TP.The community pool in the back of the VRBO was not heated & was dirty (leaves/trash). In the VRBO email sent, it stated the availability of "pool heat (if requested)". The first day on the trip, I called the phone number provided in this email & requested pool heat. I was told that we would be responsible for the cost of the heat. The representative said the "base cost" was 50. I approved & they said it would be turned on. The next day, they called back & told us that they "don't control the heat for this pool". We were not charged but my kids were disappointed as they love swimming and the water was too cold to swim in.When sending a question via VRBO inbox, Jeeves answers & asks if you want to send your message to the owner. I wouldn't have reached out otherwise so I felt this was an unnecessary question.
