"We've been staying here for the last 2 years as its close to my sons exam centre, ( hes only 15) but its also far enough away that its very quiet and peaceful. We get a good nights sleep everytime we stay, 4 times last year 4 times this may/june. Amazing walking areas close by, a local Chinese next door, rooms are very spacious, very clean and tidy, shower rooms imagulate, always plenty of toilet roll and washing accessories ( which is always a bonus if you forget), towels also provided, bed...

"It's a pretty setting and the room was clean. They seemd a little short staffed and, although the food was good, the tables were dirty and (bizarrely) the host told us the half empty restuarant was 'fully booked'. When we saw many empty tables, we asked the bar tender if it would be possible to order food and he was happy to oblige! Also, the lighting in our room was broken, the only way to have light was to keep the harsh overhead light on. The receptionist promised to send a service person but...
