If you are looking for a secluded rental with all the amenities but walking distance to the beach and food/shopping…this place is it! Over the years, Myrtle Beach has become insanely crowded. Sometimes with all the hustle and bustle, you miss out on simply enjoying nature and relaxing. This rental gave us the peace we needed with being on a quiet street, waking up each morning to the marsh views, and enjoying the quick walk to a beautiful beach. The rental is perfect for families with little ones-my daughter enjoyed finding the toys and books in the house and swimming in the pool. You can pay extra to get the pool heated but if going to this rental in the summer, nature will heat it for you. The kitchen has all the cooking utensils you would need-perfect for when you don’t want to leave the house and can enjoy a nice meal at home. And let me repeat this again-parking is a breeze because you don’t have to fight for a good space and you can walk to the beach. In my opinion this is better than typical beach front properties. Definitely want to come back again one day-this was a family beach vacation we will never forget.

Great location to the beach and attractions

Home was beautiful- only issue was paid for the pool to be heated and it was really cold. Really enjoyed the tv outside.

Wonderful place to stay!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Casa De Mar! The house was clean, spacious and comfortable. There was beautiful stained glass in almost every room and so much character. The pool was clean and a perfect size for our family. We also enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the various birds in the marsh behind the house. It was a fabulous week! . We will be back!

Good stay

Overall, a nice place. Just enough room for my family of six. Pool is big but definitely needed it heated. It could use a deep cleaning and upgrade to kitchen supplies like the pots and utensils. Nice short walk to the beach.

Excellent Home

Neighborhood is great and short walk to the beach and grocery store. Location is quiet and relaxing. Home is wonderful and pool area is great. Only issue is the trees above the pool place a lot of debris into the pool when the wind blows. Bedding could be better but that’s a small issue. I would stay again if traveling to North Myrtle for vacation.

The family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We ran out of propane one day, but management jumped on it quickly and had us a refill that same day. The heated pool is great!

GAS LEAK BLUES!!!

On Sunday when we checked in, there was a faint odor, we thought it was the marsh next door. The next day scent was stronger and finally Tuesday morning it smelled like sulfur. We called North Beach Realty, they sent someone out. It had been a gas leak in the hot water heater. We had to be displaced to another house. The pack up was rigorous with a set of twins, 11 months old, a 3 yr old, 4 yr old, another 3 yr old. Imagine the repacking again just for the kids! Our reward for the move, on vacation, another house. Seems they should've worked a little harder to compensate folks who want to vacation without having to work again during the vacation. I understand no one wanted this to happen, but it did and a multi million dollar company could have done far more than they did, ESPECIALLY WITH A BONAFIDE GAS LEAK! THANK GOD WE ARE ALIVE!

Great week of vacation

My Family group of 7 had no complaints whatsoever about this house. It is exactly as described. Had everything we needed to relax for the week. Great location!!! The pool was a perfect addition to have for the days you wanted a break from the sand and heat. Perfect yard for cornhole which we played all week. The ONLY thing i would change has absolutely nothing to do with the property. The property was Excellent! I just didnt understand why it was necessary to check in at a separate location for a totally keyless entry. That Was a waste of time. But, not enough of a hassle to keep my from coming back in the future. That is for sure.

Great location steps to the beach and private pool

We really enjoyed our stay. The listing is exactly as the pictures show. The beach is at the end of the road, an easy 3-5 minute walk with kids. The house is on the end which offered more privacy than most other homes. I was worried it would be buggy at night with the location but it wasn’t at all. Check in was easy and the home was clean and plenty suitable for our family of 5. We didn’t utilize all the spaces but there was plenty for us to spread out. The front living room is a bit removed from the main area/kitchen so we didn’t utilize it or even turn the tv on, but who goes on a beach vacation to sit inside to watch TV!? Most days we went to the beach in the AM, came back for lunch and then lounged by the pool in the afternoons. Having the pool is key for my family. We love the beach but love having the pool to dip into after and relax. We only had a couple tiny maintenance items nothing out of the ordinary and they were prompt attending to it-and friendly. I would have liked to have had a bit more cooking/ storage supplies in the kitchen, but we made due. I got some at the grocery store. I would have liked some lounge chairs given the pool and large deck too as well as some hooks in the bathrooms to hang towels or wet bathing suits, just little things to make it more convenient. Also recommend surfing lessons with Native Surf. Chris is the owner and he was great! He’s a local & was great giving us all the local places to visit! Would book again!
