"Beautiful location. So many fish caught. Owners added a pontoon rental last minute for us and it was the icing on the cake! We had a beautifully amazing vacation here!! "

"This rental is a perfect place for a small family or two couples to base their Lake Superior adventure from. There’s enough room for everyone to have their own space as well as room for everyone to get together to play a game or share a meal. Wi-Fi was great and kitchen was stocked appropriately."

"We all had a great time. Caught some pretty big fish, weather was hot, but not rainy. Pontoon was nice and big for everyone to come aboard. House had lots of room and with 2 kitchens the extra refrigerator was a blessing. Communication with the owners was excellent. "

"The Whistling Turtle Chalet is an amazing property! We had 5 adults and 5 children (ages 3-9) and so loved the spaciousness of the chalet, awesome movie room, toy area with futon tepee, fire pit, pedal boat, pontoon, beach swimming area and the list goes on! Everything we needed (and more) was available to us in the chalet. All the thoughtful touches were also very much appreciated! We will definitely be back!"

"We just love these cottages and the community. It is absolutely beautiful in the summer and winter. Everything is clean and this cottage had all the kitchen utensils and equipment needed. The only think is the upstairs area gets quite warm to due to fireplace having to be on. Maybe install another ceiling fan in the bedroom? We just loved our stay and can't wait to visit again."

"As part of the Brickyard Creek development, Pepin's Retreat exceeded our expectations. Very clean, high end furnishings, and the feeling of being very secluded even though there were other rentals around us. The screened in porch was a bonus!"

"Property is as described. Fully stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, blankets and other supplies. Beds were very comfortable. This property is located in a very quiet, peaceful and private location. The spacious deck and screened porch were favorite hangout spaces. The lake is great for fishing! Caught enough fish for a couple meals and even more to take home. Owners very easy to communicate with and very responsive to our questions. Highly recommend this property, would rent again! "

"This is a cozy cabin with a great view of the lake and if you are there during July 4th there is a good chance you can see the fireworks from the porch! Nice touch with coffee and scones for breakfast. We will stay here again!"
