Nos ubicaron en una habitación frente a un bar de playa que tenía mucho ruido y no podíamos dormir. Llamamos a recepción y nos trataron mal. Tuve un altercado fuerte con el recepcionista quien pasó a una habitación que también tenía ruido y dijo que no podía ubicarnos en una mejor por la categoría que teníamos. Al otro día nos quejamos y una de las administradoras se disculpó y ubicó en una habitación mejor de cortesía del hotel. Por eso, nos sentimos mejor y decidimos olvidar la situación; sin embargo, el último día recibimos una carta que decía que si volvíamos a dejar la puerta abierta del balcón, nos cobrarían 250 dólares. Nos pareció una amenaza bastante desagradable y nos volvimos a sentir mal en el hotel. Nosotras sufrimos de frío y no nos gusta dormir con aire acondicionado y necesitamos la ventilación del aire puro. Consideramos que el hotel no puede prohibir a los huéspedes que abran la ventana del balcón y además, que amenacen con cobrar $250 dólares. Esto no tiene presentación. También nos cobraron por ubicarnos en la playa debajo de una sombrilla del hotel, dijeron que costaba 30 dólares o que nos teníamos que ir más atrás. Cuando fui a tomar una bicicleta a las 4 de la tarde, dijeron que no se podía, que si bien era hasta las 5, ya a esa hora no la podían prestar. Por esto, no pensamos volver al hotel. Eso sí debo señalar que la comida y la atención de los meseros en los restaurantes es EXCELENTE. La amabilidad de ellos y la comida es muy buena.

El sistema de buffet solo funciona en el desayuno. Para almuerzo y comida hay que reservar con antelación y hacer pedidos a la carta, lo cual hace perder mucho tiempo al clienta.

The hotel was in general good condition, considering it is one of the first buildings in the area. The beach was really lovely and the people (staff and locals) were super friendly and nice. The confusing part is that the hotel and package is sold as ALL INCLUSIVE, but one must still be signing for every check (even for 1 drink) and one is "politely asked' to give more tip. In my view, to make things smoother and better for the customer it should 'all be INCLUDED". Despite we payed for the FULL ALL INCLUSIVE rate, there were still plenty of things which had extra charge. This is never advised before starting our trip.... not very nice to find out during our stay. The food was excellent and we had a really good time. We are definitely looking forward to returning to ARUBA.

Me encontre de muy mal gusto que compre un todo incluido y tuve que pagar alla aparte las sillas sillas y casita para estar en la piscina. La comida estaba pobre. El desayuno muy limitado en cuento que no habia variedad . No me gusto . El wifi se iba a cada rato y el. Baño super pequeño no caben 2 personas.

La habitacion muy bien, la comida poca variedad , no hay buffet siempre es a la carta,poca variedad para los niños, el club kids muy pobre! No casi juegos para los mas pequeños. Las palapas sale 30 dolares por dia, una verguenza. La propina es confuza ya que cada vez que pides algo tienes q firmar la cuenta.

When we arrived our room was not ready which was to be expected because it was before check in time. The staff was very nice and offered for us to change into our suits and shorts. When we went into the lobby bathroom it was beyond disgusting. Urine on the floor. I didnt even want to open my suitcase. Things got worse when we arrived to our room. The hallway smelled musty and moldy. In our room was no better. The bathroom had some mold in the corners of the shower. We decided that this hotel was not a right fit for our family and checked out after 1 night. I will say the manager was pleasant to deal with and understanding in our decision.

For a Holiday Inn, this resort was clean and beautiful. The rooms were clean and actually nice. They put us on the side where there bar is loud and open all night. Even with the slider closed, it felt like I was at the Mamba club. Not what you want for vacation. When checking in, they did not have our 4th person listed and they were ready to charge me another whole all inclusive fee saying it was Expedia’s fault and it didn’t go through to them correctly. I had to bring up the Expedia reservation that was clearly correct. They fixed it but they were completely rude the entire time making me feel awful. I knew 3 other couples there that had bed mix ups and other mix ups and again they were so rude. What happen to the customer is always right and even if they aren’t, you fix it with a smile. Most the staff there was rude and not happy. I had one women cleaning the bathroom and told me I didn’t flush the toilet, I had tried to flush it 4 times and she heard me but was still completely put off and wouldn’t acknowledge me. I was looking at t- shirts at the shop near the pool and I unfolded a shirt to look at the size and the woman working there was so put our that I didn’t fold it correctly and was rude.

Rooms are getting old in need of updating. Restaurants have a limited menu and some are f the restaurant opens only 3 times per week. All inclusive menu may include additional changes regardless of paying for all inclusive.

We booked a king bed and upon arrival we had 2 double beds. The lady at the front desk, whom was not nice, said “you picked a king bed option but that’s only a preferance not a guarantee.” So that was a bummer. Rooms need updating. However, beds are comfortable and the area is great. Pools are very clean and the beach is only a hop, skip and jump away. Overall we had a good time.

Loved Aruba, however, we would not stay at this property again. The hotel rooms were pretty terrible, the beds are so small; full size beds at most. Housekeeping continuously failed to leave us enough clean towels daily, fill up body wash, etc. Was not the type of "all-inclusive" we have done at other destinations. I would not choose to do All Inclusive again in Aruba. Great beach and access to the beach from this hotel. Service was mid.

Pros: Food high-end, drinks amazing. Hotel updated and has a great beach. Cons: have to pay for shade $30-40 a day. Have to sign for drinks and food every time you get something even if you all inclusive. No night life, everything is dead at 9pm.

As a first timer visiting Aruba, then holiday inn on the beach is a WIN! Everyone is so pleasant and kind and welcoming. The tricky part is ensuring that you reserve your spot for dinner. . We missed that opportunity the first night but got the hang of it on day 2. I rented a car and parking is free since we use the room key to get into the big park lot. Does a great job of making sure they answer questions. They have a few pools and again the beach access is always a great choice!!

Excellent place to stay, every employee was extremely helpful and friendly. One week was not enough. Shopping and restaurants across the street was nice to have. The food at every restaurant on the grounds was great, and fast service.

Property was great, beach was very nice, rooms were good. As all-inclusive is an addon package and not mandatory, there are a lot of extras even when on the package. We also were unable to get seated at a restaurant on property the night we arrived - we booked reservations for the remainder of the week and did not have the problem again. We had a good stay but next time will likely stay on a property dedicated to the all-inclusive experience.

Nice staff, food was plenty. Bathroom was tiny and room was outdated. Didn't bother us too much as we spent as much time as possible outside enjoying the beach, pool, and the local customs.

Check in was awful. Along with a broken elevator it was awful. Overbooked and understaffed. Uncomfortable beds, outside lounge chairs, strict towel guidelines. All inclusive drinks were not very good. “Ocean view” room faced the parking lot/ other hotel and construction dumpster. Only view was hanging over the railing. Inconsistent room cleaning. Hospital style wrist bands were very uncomfortable. Definitely will not be staying at holiday in on next Aruba trip. Love the location and island in general, but there are a lot of other hotel options that could’ve been better.
