I got the "royal" treatment at the Maison Royal. It's conveniently around the corner from my favorite jazz clubs on Frenchmen: Snug Harbor, where I had tickets to a terrific sold-out show, and the more casual Bamboula's. The room is tastefully furnished and has two comfortable chairs, allowing me to host a friend who dropped by and admired the digs. It was my fifth time in NOLA, and the 2nd time I visited during a cold spell, so I was thankful that the room provided heating as well as A/C. Wallace was an attentive host who responded to a question I had within minutes. All in all, an excellent place.

Great NOLA location; tight quarters

My young adult daughter and I enjoyed our stay in the vacation room with en suite bathroom. The location was perfect; right off of the liveliness of Frenchman St and a short jaunt to the French Qaurter and Bourbon St. Check in was easy. The hosts were easily accessible and the room was well-maintained. Sadly, the people who were renting the room directly in back of ours were EXTREMELY INCONSIDERATE-their 3:45AM intimate activity was enough to keep folks in all three units awake. Other than the close proximity of the rooms and our EXTREMELY INCONSIDERATE neighbors in the back room, I would recommend this location for a short weekend trip through NOLA.

My first VRBO

I have never had the opportunity tomstay in a VRBO but with the crazy hotel prices in NOLA for the Super Bowl it was worth a try. I hit a homerun. Clean cozy and comfortable. Warren and Rebecca are great hosts. The music on Frenchman street a .5 block away is awesome Yhanks!!

Perfect location for Music lovers

We enjoyed our stay and found the location to be perfect for us. We love music and being right around the corner from Frenchman Street worked great. We also rented a couple bikes from the shop on Frenchman. We rode all around to the different parks, and the museum. We had so much fun!

Very comfortable. Perfect location!

Hosts were very accommodating with great communication. The room has everything we needed and the check-in/check out was easy. If you are interested in taking in the music scene on Frenchman St. you really couldn’t get much closer. We will certainly be back.

Wonderfully located off Frenchmen st. in the heart of the French Quarter, we were surprised at how close off the street our bed/room was! Lovely, small and charming, comfortable and quaint, it suited or small 4 day stay very nicely.

The location is great, pubs and restaurants nearby. The host were extremely helpful in suggesting the best places to eat and they were right! The place is clean and safe. Amazing place for the price! Will definitely use again.

Peasant stay. Space and listing was accurate. I would book again. Especially if the bed were not so soft. Defective shower door was a mild inconvenience. Overall an 8.5 out of 10!!

Great for Frenchman Street!

You can't beat this location! Just a few doors down from Frenchman street, you can hear the music all night - yes that includes after you want to go to sleep - so make sure to pack your earplugs. The space was cute and nicely maintained. Little touches all around that make you feel like you are staying in a "home" not just four walls.

Quiet and comfortable

Had an excellent stay, arrived from a long ride in. Easy to get the key step in and fall right alseep. Lots of local shops and pubs thats far from the Bourbon St. noise. The room has a book for local venues as with a welcoming email. Communication was prompt when i had a few questions about my arrival and how to work the shower. Thank you for a great stay!
