Great house in a great area! Only comment was that there was mold in the dishwasher upon arrival with a lot of the plates and silverware that were stowed away were not properly cleaned. Otherwise the rest of the house was great

Great home & location but could use a deep clean and updates

A nice home in a good location. There are plenty of hang out areas in the house and a large kitchen with table which is nice for large groups. The pool area was great. Short walk or drive to beach, walking distance to grocery store, restaurants, etc. beds were comfortable but the twin bunk room was tight quarters and the twin conversion was pretty stiff, but worth it for the extra space for people. The property could use a bit of TLC though. While mostly clean, the carpet was shedding and stained, and the floors were almost sticky, but that could be from cleaning agents. The vents on the second floor appeared moldy, which left a few of us feeling stuffy, and it wasn’t ideal for the infant we traveled with. There was writing on the ceiling above the pool table (appeared like someone used the pool stick to etch words into the ceiling). When we went to vacuum, we found a prong missing on the plug, so we could not. The second floor fire alarm went off randomly at three am. We didn’t feel the need to contact KEES rental right away for the issues as it was nothing that impacted our stay greatly, and it was after hours. Otherwise, it was a nice stay and we would consider renting again if the mold issue was resolved.

Locked out of Pier Pressure more than once

To: Troy and Marsha Simmons My husband and I booked Pier Pressure for the week prior to our daughter’s wedding. We were accommodating my mother, the bride and her maid-of-honor in the house and we were very excited about all the features that Pier Pressure offered. We were unable to gain access for almost an hour (3 different keyless codes were issued). We got locked out one night (battery on keyless door lock died) and didn't get into the house till midnight. Overall we had multiple maintenance issues which can be referenced by the Kees records. We will be sending a detailed report to the property owners, Kees and VRBO. Please advise how to request a refund for expenditures (batteries) and inconvenience.

Not the most comfortable stay

While at our stay, someone stained the front railings, and as my husband was unpacking the car the stain ruined his nice shorts (out the money on these). Also, whoever did the staining had it all over the place. The couch in the main room needs updating as the cushions all fall because they are worn and very uncomfortable. Needs new frying pans. Will not recommend this home to friends.

Me and my family stayed here for 5 nights because it was such a great deal compared to other rentals in the area. When we arrived we realized that there was so much in walking distance it was perfect, the best part was we essentially had no neighbors the entire trip so we didn’t really have to worry about the whole being quite after 10pm or just having nosey neighbors. Great place!

The house was perfect for our group. Nicely decorated and had everything we needed. Close enough to the beach to walk there and if you didn't want to walk there was a beach access right across beach road to drive to. Great stay for us!

Stay at KEES Pier Pressure

My friends and I loved it here! This is such a great house to spend time with each other in. The balconies were beautiful. We loved spending days in the pool and nights playing shuffle board! Plus just a short walk to the beach. Thank you so much!

So much fun!!

My family and i had a great time. The day we had rain we had a shuffleboard and pool tournament! The pool area was so nice and clean!! Really close to groceries and close to the beach. We will definitely be going back!!

Property is in a nice location in Nags Head close to fishing pier and golf .. you can walk to stores, etc … Also, the design has bedrooms on 3 floors which is good for privacy, etc Would recommend for a place to stay

Quite an experience with kees rental

The home had bed bugs in the beds and on our belongings. And the process of them switching our rental or taking care of the issue didn’t happen until the last day. BED BUGS!!!! I have photos and I have what the pest guy from outer banks pest control said.

Nice, but...

Loved the house! Only received one day of towels exchange service. Also had no garbage removal before or during our stay. Bins outside were full with terrible stench upon our arrival. We had difficulty finding ANY space for our trash in outside bins. Called property management two times about these issues and was assured each time we would have fresh towels and garbage would be collected. Unfortunately, neither occurred.

OBX First Timers

We had a lovely week staying at the Kees property “Pier Pressure”. The house was spacious and airy. It was clean and well kept. It was stocked with all the essentials we needed, as we had come in from out of state. The towel service was efficient and reliable. This is a beautiful property well placed near beach access, restaurants, and local attractions. We were very pleased with our stay.

We enjoyed our stay in Nags Head, great location, close to golf, beach and numerous restaurants and stores. Both the property manager and maintenance crew were very responsive and timely in fixing an issue with the AC.

Great weekend

Only complaints were spiders on first (basement) level and lack of a dish disposal. Hot water for shower time ran out kind of quick, but that would happen anywhere with a party of 10. Otherwise, property was as described. Very nice and would stay again.

Great house

Overall we had a great stay and the house fit my family's needs very well. The kids had a blast with the shuffleboard and pool tables, it was nice to have 3 master bedrooms and two rooms for the kids downstairs as well as a fully stocked kitchen. Some of the cons to our stay: everyone in our party felt the beds were too firm. There were no shades or blinds in the top floor living room/dining room/kitchen. As a result the top floor was above 80 degrees all day, despite the thermostat being set to 60. A ceiling fan was broken in one of the second floor bedrooms. We reached out several times to try to coordinate a time for maintenance to repair (we had a baby napping for 2 hours each day). Despite being told we would receive a phone call to coordinate time for maintenance to stop by, they came right during the middle of the baby's nap. We reached out again the next day and never received a response. One bedroom was significantly cooler on the second floor than the other bedroom, so this was a challenge when we had multiple babies in the house and the ceiling fan was not working in one of the warmer rooms. Overall our group had a favorable experience, but these climate control challenges certainly caused annoyances in our stay. It was great to have a nearby grocery store and be in a central location.
