Great property

This property was perfect 11 friends and family members and there was plenty of space for everyone. An amazing kitchen well equipped. Great privacy and a wonderful dock with seating area to enjoy the bay. I would highly recommend this property to any large group or family.

Great spot

The location was very convenient . We were very pleased with the pool, hot tub and incredible sunset views ! The home was even better than the pictures . The showers were incredible . Overall a really great experience and we would certainly come back. The only negative comment I have is about the soap and towels etc. this is a very high end property with state of the art bathrooms but they were furnished with 1 towel per guest that were of the motel 6 quality, same with the soap and toilet paper. We made a quick trip to the store to buy towels and toilet paper. As long as you are ok buying towels etc, it’s a fantastic spot

Perfectly placed home, always enjoy this house, needs some work

Our family has stayed at this property 3 times over the last few years. We always enjoy it with the easy to access pool, spa and pier. The house is located in a perfect neighborhood, close to the beach & main road, but not near action or noise. Our favorite things to do are have coffee together in the sunroom or hang out around the fire & spa in the evenings after watching the sunset. Always a good time is had by all! We have noticed that the property is aging & after a few visits, some items still haven't been repaired. There has been a leak in the kitchen ceiling over the sink since our first visit in 2021. This time it was pointed out to us by the cleaning crew, who was still on site when we arrived at 4pm. The house is generally clean, but there are cobwebs in corners, the front steps and porch could use pressure-washing. There isn't a decent broom in the house & the suction device under the cabinet for sweeping up the floor no longer operates. The cleaning crew left all of their supplies in the elevator, luckily the inspector was still there so she moved them for us. The most disturbing thing was when we arrived the woman of the cleaning crew screaming obsenities at her workers. She went to their car with a teenage boy and proceeded to beat him in the back seat. He was screaming "stop hitting me" and when she saw me watching her, she made a joke about "teenagers." This was not a warm welcome to our vacation. I was really disturbed and almost intervened.

Best View

This home was amazing. The view from the kitchen is everything. My family enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We had a very relaxing weekend. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home. Only thing maybe its time to update the furniture.

Great house and amenities

Love the house and the amenities, especially the pool. Would stay here again if we had the choice, but would like to be closer to the beach.

Design and quality of the house is spectacular.

Everything in this house is high end from the appliances to the TVs, Kitchen, faucets, AC, beds, showers, you name it. House looks brand new. The Master Bedroom on the 3rd floor may be the biggest I have ever seen that is practical and usable. The Zillow photos are obviously prior to the massive renovation. My kids loved the house and so did the grandparents. BTW, has an Elevator that goes to all floors. The WiFi was on the blink while we were there, which made keeping up with work tough....which was fantastic. Pool was wonderful. If you haven't been to this area before, leave you boat at home as Ablemarle Sound is 6' deep max and the first couple hundred yards from shore are 1-1.5' deep, so super shallow boats only. We saw very few boats on the water all week. Upon arrival, the WiFi password was incorrect and the code to get into the house was also incorrect, which made for a little delay in on boarding. Upon arrival the clean up crew had forgotten to take out the level 1 trash, but took care of it. All in all, I didn't see a nicer house with better amenities. If you like to be spoiled a little, this is the one.

Rough start. Strong finish

We were desperate, as a family, for a change of scenery and have some fun while being vigilant in keeping everyone safe from COVID-19. We had a very difficult time early on with poor communication and a few things that were not working at the property but ultimately KEES did everything they could to remedy the situation and we salvaged some solid family time and made lemonade out of lemons. The house has a lot of bells and whistle’s and has clearly been invested in to make guests comfortable. It’s a great house for all ages. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and cookware. Plenty of bathrooms, movies, huge TVs in every room with surroundsound, DVDs, pool table, workout room, outdoor grill, and we left all of our floats and rafts so hopefully they kept those and you won’t need those either. they’ve thought of everything. The master bed is very comfortable. There’s even an elevator for those who need it. My only tip is to bring water shoes as the concrete pool can be rough on your tootsies. We’d stay here again and would definitely use KEES Again based on the way they responded to our issues.
