We had a wonderful time at the "Two Crabby". The house was beautiful and set in the perfect location between the beach and the sound. We had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The sparkling clean hot tub was an added bonus.

Amazing vacation!

Two Crabby was absolutely perfect for our OBX family vacation! Great and responsive hosts, AMAZING house, and perfect location. We couldn’t have been happier with our experience, and we look forward to being back in 2026!

Too Crabby Stay

Very nice property with a great location. Home could use a little more love on the cleaning front(particularly in the kitchen/faces of cabinets were dirty) but wasn’t too bad overall. The only real issue we had was regarding no bath or hand towels. It is possible that I missed it but I didn’t realize we had to bring our own bath towels when I booked the place. I didn’t realize this until I got a confirmation email. We did bring some, but what a pain! Not ideal when traveling across the country to visit. Seems like a a very easy and inexpensive benefit to have for guests that is included with every other property we’ve rented. Overall, we had a wonderful family trip and was a nice place to stay.

Great Getaway

We had a family of 5, three kids (5,6 & 7) and it was a great home for our vacation. The layout is great, lots of deck space and outdoor seating. The location of the house is right across from the dock access road so it made it super easy for us to get down there and enjoy fishing. The neighborhood is quiet and located close to lots of stores, restaurants, etc., so you don't have to go far for anything. We really enjoyed staying here.

Maybe it was the rain

We thank you for letting us stay in your home. We found the home accommodating and furnished with everything advertised, and the location was ideal! Our only mild disappointment was that that it lacked a sense of ‘WELCOME.’ It smelled musty like it hadn’t been used in a long time and we found dust and trash under the beds and dressers when we hooked up our electronics. We also didn’t receive any information for the pool or golf course as we have at other homes we’ve stayed at in the Outer Banks.

Awesome location, spectacular sunsets!

The home is comfortable, kitchen is well supplied with every kind of dish or pan or utensil you would ever need! There are tons of decks, a screened porch, and all the beach equipment you would need as well. The private beach and pool were an added bonus too. Great vacation!

Great house

Wonderful space and location

Family time is the best!

The size was perfect for 8 adults. Kitchen well equipped some of those items in rough shape. Skillets and baking sheets (scratched up and rusty). Counter tops odd everything you set on the counter, left a mark that had to be scrubbed off “kitchen and bathrooms”. Wonderful neighborhood to walk. Golf course amazing a bit overpriced but very nice. Sound walking distance, beautiful sunsets. Pool and beach area amazing, I would not recommend walking. Access to the beach is a bit steep no stairs or mats to help you climb back up to pool area. Owner available and amazing to work with.

Great little family home

We love staying in this neighborhood and this house perfectly fit our family vacation. Loved walking to the sound and playing corn hole while enjoying the decks and views. One slight negative is the living room only has a 3 seater couch and two chairs. There's really room for a sectional, but as it is there isn't enough room for all family to lounge and hangout at the same time. We had 4 adults and 5 kids and someone always had to sit on the floor.

Not too “Crabby”

Very comfortable home in great location and neighborhood. Privacy and quiet stay. Dish washer and washer/dryer are a little dated and take a long time to clean or dry. Also- having to bring all of our own towels (2 each for 10 people) took a ton of room in vehicles. But other than that it really was a lovely stay for a good price. Love that the beach and pool both have lifeguards. Beach chairs were very handy. Hot tub was a nice size and great quality! Grill worked great. Would consider coming back again!

Lovely home in a great location but no towels?

This home is in a great location. It's an easy drive to most of the island's top attractions plus the grocery store, beach and Duck Donuts. We loved the outdoor living spaces including the two decks, screened in porch and the hot tub. The short walk to the sound was also a plus as was the one week "membership" at the pool club. Our only complaint was the requirement that we supply our own beach and bath towels. If you are driving to OBX this would not be an issue but if you are flying there it is an issue. No one wants to use limited suitcase space for towels. I even offered to pay a refundable deposit if the towels could be supplied but my offer was refused. The description of the property stated that linens would be supplied. I didn't catch on until reading the visitor reviews later that the term "linens" only applied to sheets. To be fair, the owner does make this requirement clear once you have committed to the rental but it doesn't diminish the inconvenience.

Wonderful location, Perfect house for two families

The location of the house exceeded our expectations with access to the bay, ocean, and grocery shopping within walking/biking distance. This home was the perfect size for two families with teens. The kids were able to ride their bikes to pick up fresh donuts as well as explore the neighborhood, community pool, and beach. Guilio was a wonderful host, very communicative, and quick to respond to the few questions we had upon arrival. We will definitely be returning.

The house was great and very conveniently located.

The property is very close to attractions and a short drive to the pool and beach, but is tucked back in a loop so there isn't a lot of traffic. Very quiet and relaxing. Great view of the sound and beautiful sunsets. Property is well maintained and the owner is great to work with.

Fun in Nags Head

This house is perfect for family vacation. It is located in a nice development in a golf community. There are water views of sound from upper deck. The back faces golf course. It was a plus having access to beach club. Even though we didn't use pool, it was great having parking by the beach. The hot tub was also fun during happy hour after a day at the beach. The only recommendation is bring your own paper goods. There is no extra toilet paper, tissues, soap, napkins. Also, bring a wine bottle opener and a can opener. The house is lovely and I highly recommend it .

Two Crabby in Nags Head

Our family of 7 adults and one child loved staying at Two Crabby. The host was very polite and fast answering my questions. The kitchen was well stocked and many people can work in it at one time because of its layout. It has a gorgeous view of the sound and the sunsets were spectacular. We enjoyed the use of the Village Club house. Nice pool, snack bar and bathrooms. It was a short walk to the beach from the pool area. The Hot tub kept everyone happy for time at the house. A stay at Two Crabby will definitely improve your mood.

A Wonderful OBX Getaway

Our stay at Two Crabby was perfect. The listing is super accurate and the owner was very easy to communicate with. He even arranged for a pre-vacation phone call to check in about any questions we had. The pier was very convenient and was a favorite place to catch the beautiful sunsets. We had 8 people staying, two families, each with two kids. The bedroom and bathroom arrangements were ideal and we took advantage of the outdoor shower, too! The kitchen was well equipped and the seating arrangements outside made it easy to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning, a meal, and evening cocktails. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
