A 2nd great stay at Sweet Caroline

Another great stay at Sweet Caroline. Amanda was a fantastic host. Great location at 2 blocks walking distance to the beach. The cottage is well appointed and included all needed amenities.

First time to Nags Head!

We had a wonderful visit to Sweet Caroline!! The photos in the listing are a perfect example of this lovely home. Upon arrival the house was spotless & contained just about every amenity you might need. They even had toys & books for our 3yo!! The location was perfect for our family as it was close to the beach, the park & mini golf… not to mention many great restaurants & ice cream spots! Being able to bring our dog really topped off our trip as we could relax without worrying about leaving our girl behind! Thanks so much for a memorable week… we hope to be back again!

Beautiful House.

Amazing house and great location!

Our family had such a wonderful stay for spring break at Sweet Caroline. The house was extremely clean and organized including a fully stocked kitchen with everything we needed. The outdoor shower was great for after the beach. The house is within walking distance of shops, a great coffee shop and our kids loved Dowdy Park. We would hands down stay here again!

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay here. The house was immaculate and exceeded our expectations! Kitchen fully stocked with cookware, dishes, utensils etc. The pictures didn’t do it justice. Very open floor plan on main level with high ceilings made it feel very spacious! My family had a very relaxing time here ( pups included) and will certainly be back.

Wonderful Stay at Nags Head

I had a wonderful stay at “Sweet Caroline”! This was an extended weekend for me and my dog (first time to Outer Banks and Nags Head). The cottage is in an amazing location just 5 minutes walk to the beach and short driving distance to many attractions. The place is very well appointed, super confortable with all amenities you need - the sun room and the decks were great and allowed us to enjoy the good weather we had during the stay. Our host Amanda was super helpful and responsive - thanks so much for all your recommendations on the wonderful places to eat and visit! Hope to be back in the future and will definitively recommend it to friends and family.

Excellent Stay in Nags Head!

We stayed in this property for two weeks at the end of July 2022. We couldn't have been happier with our time here! We are a family of four (two adults, one teen, and one pre-teen) who traveled with our standard poodle. The house is in a great location, an easy walk to the beach, but far enough away to be very quiet at night. The house is very well appointed with just about anything you might need for a long weekend through an extended stay. The layout of the home is great, with all of the bedrooms and a full bath on the main level and the kitchen, family room, sun room, and a half bath upstairs. There are decks on every level, which effectively expands the home's square footage to include lots of awesome outdoor space (always a great plus when you are at the beach). The laundry room and the outdoor shower on the ground level are also indispensable. We used them both throughout our stay. It was a short to mid-range walk to Galaxy mini golf, as well as The Spot and Surfin' Spoon ice cream shops, and the Food Lion for groceries. We visited all of these locations at least once during our stay. Super convenient that everything was so close. We also rented tandem bikes from Manteo Cyclery and pedaled all around the surrounding neighborhood to Jockeys Ridge State Park, and other nearby locations. The upper level of the home gets pretty hot during the worst heat of the day. Keeping the blinds shut upstairs helps keep the heat in check and the house cools off well in the evenings. Overall, we loved the house. We would definitely recommend it, especially for families visiting the beach for a week or more. We hope to be back in the future!

Family friendly

We had a great week as a family of 4 with 2 small children in Nags Head. This home fit our needs very well and had lots of family friendly details- close to Dowdy park, bins of toys for the kids to play with and nightlights in the rooms. Plus it was a close walk to the beach and space for the kids to run around.

Wonderful Vacation Spot

We had an awesome stay. The property was clean and very close to the beach. The kids had a great time playing basketball and skating down to the park at the end of the road. We couldn't believe how close we were to the ocean. We will definitely plan to stay there again.

Perfect Fall Family Getaway

This house was great for our family with 2 elementary aged kids and our dog. The house was impeccably clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked and the kids loved the games and toys. The beach was a short walk even with kids. Our host was sweet and responsive. Fall is our favorite time to visit. The weather is great and the crowds are gone. We would definitely stay at Sweet Caroline again.

Great place for families!

We had a great stay. Sweet Caroline is well-equipped for families, has everything you could need. A couple blocks from the beach but has wagons to make the walk more manageable with little ones. The property manager is great also, has all the information you need and a very welcoming vibe.

Excellent Beach Vacation!

Our stay in Nags Head was absolutely wonderful. We had 4 adults and two children under 2 and the house was perfect with all the kid friendly toys and items already there. The beach wagon was a particularly big hit with my 1 year old walking to and from the beach. The house was spotless when we arrived, and thanks to an early departure from the previous guests we were able to check in early. The location was absolutely perfect, and we enjoyed having the enclosed upper porch for the kids to use. Would definitely stay again in a heartbeat, a week just wasn't long enough!

Fabulous Fourth

We had a great beach week at Sweet Caroline. House comes stocked with so many essentials compared to other homes. Nephews wished beach was closer but walk was fine by the adults! We could see the Nags Head pier fireworks from the deck of the house which was awesome! Kitchen is well stocked with cookware and dishes. Hot tub was a nice treat. Everyone slept well. Lots of beach chairs so leave yours home!
