Pretty good. Broken step on side stairs, TV was extremely slow to play on Netflex & Prime Video to the point that we shut it off which was disappointing due to it was raining and we were tired and ready to relax. A baby copperhead was found on the carport. Other than those 3 things everything else was nice and we enjoyed our trip.

Great time on the Sound

If you are interested in relaxing this is the place. It is sound side and the sunsets were incredible. Bonus they have a pool need cash but it's available

Million dollar views!

The house was just as it was pictured ! The views were my favorite part!!!! They were beautiful! It was very cozy! We loved our stay!

Sunset delight

Loved the property. Short drive to beach and grocery stores, etc. Very clean with lots of space. The porches outside facing the sound were spectacular. Will definitely keep this in mind for the future!

Perfect getaway

Property as described. Cove realty is very helpful. Lots of little extras everywhere. I saw some reviews of the air conditioner not working-not true! House stayed cool with no issues. It doesn’t list a grill but there’s a gas girl in the storage in the carport but you have to bring propane. The decor is picture perfect for a beach house and the balcony was so amazing! I really don’t have anything bad to report. We were very pleased!

Great home to rent for our vacation

We loved this house! It was a perfect rental for a nice relaxing vacation and had everything we needed. We had 6 adults in this house and relaxed here while enjoying OBX. Would def stay again. Thanks for having us from Ohio.

Wonderful stay

We loved everything about this property. The owners did a wonderful job preparing for guests. The view was amazing, house comfortable and perfect location. The beds were comfortable! They must have been upgraded since previous reviews.

Lovely

We couldn’t have asked for a better spot. The house was in a nice quiet neighborhood and there was a nice little beach on the sound within walking distance. Even though we couldn’t do things we normally do during our stay bc of COVID we thoroughly enjoyed our house.

Wonderful Stay!

What a lovely home to stay in on Nags Head! Brand new and stylish decorations. You can tell the owners put so much thought into the renovation. Amazing view of the sound with killer sunset views. PEACE and quiet from all rooms of the house. Well equipped and has everything you need. Can walk to beach (about 15-20mins) or easy 5 min drive with multiple parking options. Highly recommend this property! Also cove realty was great to work with and made the rental process super easy.

Lovely house with hard beds

We had a nice stay. The house is large and clean save for a few small fixable things that were missed. The only thing that put a damper was the hard beds. They are like rock and if the owners would consider replacing the mattresses, the stay would be perfect.

Had a great time

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The house was spacious for our family size of 9. Needs to be more TVs, as small children want to watch different things than adults. I gave up the nicer bedroom for our elderly parents, which meant my husband and I slept downstairs. The mattress was so uncomfortable, that we had to purchase a pad mid week. Overall we enjoyed our stay. I grew up coming to the Outer Banks, so it was nice to visit again after so many years. Would stay again.

It had the minimum of what was needed. It needs a little updating. Just providing a few things.

We had most of what we needed. The kitchen could use a few things. The cabbage shredder was so small I took the skin off my knuckles making coleslaw for our cookout. The dishes are rather sparse and I had to go out and buy a dishcloth and towel to use, there were none. Pots and pans the same. The jetted tub was nice to have but the pressure is failing, probably due to age. If replacing pillows they needed to be a little better quality than the cheapest. Everyone had to use at least 3, even my 8 year old granddaughter. TV, games and DVD we're good. Loved that the refrigerator had an icemaker! We called about the bicycles not being in working condition and a gentleman came to work on them but the adult bikes were left with flat tires so fixing the child one was of no use. We wouldn't allow my granddaughter to ride without us so she was bummed out. The community pool was very nice to have access to since the red flag flew quite a few days and couldn't cool off in the ocean. The ladies that run the pool were super nice. I do want to come back but will get a house closer to the ocean next time. I am aware that alot of people do not respect others property therefore not spending a ton of money by the owner might be necessary. But if they twicked just a few creature comforts the stay in Sunset Delight would have been more pleasant. We visit the gulf coast of Florida quite often, as well as Oak Island and some of the beaches on the southern end of N.C.. By far this was the sparsest house we have stayed in but I guess you get what you pay for. We don't have to have the best to have a great time, which we did, just could have used some small things done better. We loved the Outer Banks and you ladies at Cove Reality rocked. Everyone we encountered was super nice and you will most definitely see us again, just a different house. Thanks!
