This home is in the perfect location for visiting the OBX! Close enough to walk to the beach and get on the main road. The house is equipped with everything you need, including kitchen necessities and beach chairs. The bedrooms are large enough to comfortably store your things and the beds are very comfortable. There is a large dining table for families and a kitchen big enough to comfortably cook in. These property owners went above and beyond expectations! They are kind, easy to work with, and full of information about the area. I would give this listing more than 5 stars if I could. We will be back!

This was a very clean and cozy cottage. Communication with the host made the experience even better. I was disappointed that VRBO didn’t advertise no linen upon booking and it was at the very bottom of the rental information that we missed. Even with the no linen provided, we would stay again for sure. We loved that the beach was so close and that beach chairs and boogie boards were provided. The house cleaner, Liz, did a great job too. Thank you Ariana!

Not all trips are created equally. This trip exceeded all of our expectations. Despite not great weather, the home, location and host made everything exceptional! If you are considering a trip to OBX, ensure “Good Tidings” is on your short list. In fact, pencil it in at the top of that list. We will surely be back!

This property was a perfect fit for our cousin trip to the Outer Banks for our first time! We were able to get into the house without any issue and once we entered everything was cleaned and organized for us to use. Communication with Ariana was extremely clear and timely, and she even provided us with a list full of places to checkout while visiting the Outer Banks (rainy day activities included)! We absolutely look forward to booking with Ariana once again.

This house was beautiful & super clean! It has plenty of space & is located on a quiet street very close to beach access. Short walk to many stores. Fun vacation here

Very nice property a short walk to the beach. The three year old had no problem with the walk both ways even after spending a couple hours at the beach. Beach is uncrowded and plenty of space for everyone. The place is very comfortable and clean and has everything you need for a relaxing vacation.

We loved our stay! The owner was very responsive with any questions leading up to our trip. Easy walk to beach and ice cream/coffee. The beach was beautiful and we enjoyed our early walk to watch sunrise and got to see dolphins each morning. Our kids range from 12-17 and they all agreed that they would want to stay in this house again.

This was our first time visiting the Outer Banks and we couldn’t have had a better experience. The home was close to the beach (we walked there), restaurants, shopping and the grocery store. The home had a well-equipped kitchen and all things needed for a great beach day! The home was clean, nicely decorated and everyone had plenty of room. Ariana was easy to work with and incredibly responsive! We would stay here again!

Good Tidings is an A property!

First of all, this home is in a stellar location, walking distance to the beach, stores, ice cream, etc... This home was perfect for our family, very clean & spacious. The neighborhood is quiet and very family friendly! Communication with Arianna (owner) was outstanding and the house had everything we needed to get settled in (essentials), very lovely home! We will definitely come back next year!!! One note to add, the closest beach access (end of the street by Old Virginia Dare) has stairs, just something to keep in mind if you rent or bring a beach cart.

My husband and I stayed here for Memorial Day weekend. House was very well maintained and cleaned. Honestly felt like home as this house reminds us a lot of our own. Very great location. Ariana made herself available to me and was very communicative. I will 100% stay here again.

PERFECT 3 DAY GETAWAY!!

Truly a gem!

This house is so lovely. Access to the beach is very convenient. The owner clearly cares about your comfort as the furniture and beds are in great shape. Another thing that stands out is how clean this house is - it was probably the cleanest rental property I have stayed in. Highly recommend!
