Gray family getaway 2025

We had a great location for the house. Right across from one of the waters to fish in. Kids rode there bikes and we were only a 2 min walk from the beach. We had a bed for all 12 of us along with great living and dining areas. Porch on the front was great to watch the fishing and the side deck was great for grilling with comfortable patio furniture on both. I would definitely stay at the Mac house again!

Fantastic Stay at Ocean Lakes

The house was perfect, plenty of comfortable beds, the kitchen had everything we needed and it was steps to the beach, playground and pool! Shannon was responsive with my questions and a fantastic host. We had a wonderful time with family in a great home, Ocean Lakes is a great vacation destination!

The dogs love it!

We’ve stayed at this property multiple times. We bring our two dogs and it’s so perfect! There is a quick place to walk them right out front. There are trash receptacles and waste bags not far away. The beach is a short walk and the beds are comfy!

Nice house, convenient location

The owners are super nice and very quick to respond to questions or concerns. They update various things often. The house is cleaned by a service and they don’t do the best job. This year there were no comforters on the bunk beds in one of the rooms. It didn’t really bother us or affect our stay, so not an issue. We are a little picky so we end up cleaning things ourselves. That said this is NOT the only house at Oceanlakes like this. Every house we’ve stayed in has been the same way. That said we this is the second year we’ve returned to this house for our stay. Owner communication means a lot to us and they are very responsive.

Very fun stay great location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Beds were comfortable, the home was set up well for our needs and was super convienent to the beach and campground pool. So much to do and see and host was super responsive to the couple of questions we had. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Great place for family to gather

We had a wonderful stay with our adult kids and their spouses and our kids that live at home. We have a 16 year age difference between our oldest and youngest so it was nice to be under one roof again and everyone spend time together. Kitchen was well stocked, plenty of seating at table, bedrooms had enough variation that everyone found their spot. Great location close to the beach.

Nice house and good location

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It’s in a convenient location in Ocean Lakes. Close to the ocean but not on the main path either. Communication with the owner was great and quick to answer any questions.

Great Location

Our week was great! A few glitches on check-in day, but Shannon was quick to respond and resolve the issue. Within just a little bit of time, everything was taken care of. The house was very clean and the location was great. The layout fit all 8 of us and the new washer/dryer got plenty of use. Also makes for less packing and suitcases! Overall, a 5 star location. And 5 star customer service!

Family Trip

Property was just what we needed. Close to all amenities, without being too loud. Nice are across street to walk dogs. 2 decks were wonderful, one stayed shaded most of day and other was a great moening spot over looking the pond. Shannon was great at solving issue with door lock, ahw answered immediately. Will definitely look at staying there again. Only negative was the cleaning crew prior to check in could have been better, to which Shannon said she would address, nothing to dampen our vacation though. Thank you again for sharing your lovely beach house.

Great property!!

We usually go to Ocean Lakes every October for 10 days for vacation and all of the Halloween festivities. This house is exactly what we were looking for. It’s pet friendly and very convenient to walk the dogs with the pond and grassy area just across the street. Also, just a short walk to the beach. The house is also big enough so that you can gather with everyone else or have a little privacy when needed. The kitchen is well stocked with all types of items you would need to cook a meal. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the ducks and geese in the pond. Our time there went by entirely too quickly and we were sad to have to leave. I’ve actually already booked it for our trip next October.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I believe we have found our annual vacation home. Very close to the beach, right across the street from one of the ponds (great fishing) , we really enjoyed the decks also.

Several pros and cons: Pros House is within walking distance to the beach Nice view of the pond Nice porches - one has shade all day from the tree and is enjoyable Plenty of living space, kitchen ware, crook pot, both a regular coffee pot and Keureg in the kitchen Cons Lots of traffic passing in front and both side street of the house Steep stairs - won’t recommend if you have bad knees Wall paper in upstairs bathroom needs replacing - starting to peel lose Table on porch is starting to show some rust Outside shower was full of sand, pails Seems campground security wasn’t enforcing loud and profanity music rules Daily parking rate is $12.00 a day and not $10.00 as advertised

Spring Break

I have stayed in many rental homes in Ocean Lakes this is by far my favorite. The house is very spacious, clean and newly renovated. It being lake front is an extra bonus. I will definitely be a repeat Renter. Thanks for opening your home to us.

week at the beach

Everything was as listed on line. Short walk to beach, activities for all, ice cream at night. The weather was beautiful. Loved having 2 decks. Enough space for people to spread out. Roomy kitchen, nice grill! Loved tooling around on golf cart.
