lujo rustico sobre el mar !
Este hotel es realmente hermoso. Cada detalle pensado y cuidado. Decoracion ecquisita. Todo muy bien mantenido. Terraza con sillones frente al mar ... increible !

Excelente hotel. No cumplieron con lo acordado
En general bien excepto porque nos asignaron una habitación más chica que la que habíamos contratado. Para una familia numerosa como la nuestra nos implicó incomodidad

Magnífica ubicación
Una habitación frente al mar y con acceso directo a la playa, cercanía a Montauk con todos sus atractivos, un spa de primer orden y un excelente restaurant son los principales atributos de este hotel. Lo anterior hace olvidar la alta tarifa y el hecho que, teniendo muchas habitaciones, produce congestiones por falta de estacionamientos.

I booked an ocean view which is across the parking and maybe if u look just right you will see a the ocean so we had to pay an additional $100 for an actual ocean view otherwise the property is great

Gurney's is located directly on the beach in Montauk, NY. The setting is nice but the prices are high. Our one bedroom room had a nice view but the king bed was soft and saggy - very uncomfortable. The sofa bed was uncomfortable as well. The maid service was superior. The resort fees are high but the yoga was good. The restaurant, Scarpetta Beach, was very overpriced but the service was excellent. I would recommend the Short Rib & Bone Marrow Agnolotti but it costs $39 for pasta.

No heat in my room. Absolutely one of the worst responses to a legitimate complaint of being in a cold room late at night with no where to go. Still haven’t heard back from Expedia or the resort. Paid a lot of money to be sitting and waiting in my coat for the resort to do something.

Beautiful but overall service less than great
I came here for a quiet get away. They “upgraded” me without me asking BUT to a room that had construction going on outside. I specially asked if there would be noise and they said no they are starting in two weeks. I went to change rooms because I had a bad feeling and the front desk was cold and acted like I had the audacity to ask and that they could down grade me back, when clearly the hotel was not full. Next morning, I get woken up to noise the one day I could sleep in. Took them till 3pm to change my room when I called them at 8am. Also the heat did not work. It was 63 degrees and I was freezing. Poorly managed, No credit or late check out offered or anything no one cared at all. I had to ask for late check out and they gave me only 30 minutes….The new room was lovely but the staff literally does not care about you or your experience at all. The main saving grace is the bath house. It’s epic and amazing and the safe was nice and on top of it, feels high end And the fitness classes with Kat were amazing. Kat went out of her way to provide excellence. The gym was great. The food was really good. Drinks were amazing. The igloo experience is under whelming but nice for a group Overall poorly managed and lack of care from front desk but the property is beautiful. I was bummed because I wanted to do a silent retreat but since I couldn’t be in my room all day I was not able too. Without the room situation 9 out of 10, with the room and how management handled it 4 out of 10.

The Staff are what make this place the breakfast staff amazing and the reception. I travel all over the world and it’s so refreshing to stay outside of the Marriot and Hilton groups. I enjoyed my 4 days there it was fantastic and relaxing well done keep up the work

Last minute trip from the city for a relaxing getaway. We know the location is perfect and it was, remote relaxed and easy. The best part was the Spa, recently renovated and it was truly nice. 90 min massage was perfect and gym was useful also, nice pool. The room was less than expected, maybe because we had a pet the room was less nice but at Ritz Carlton prices you expect more. Heat was not working, room was just adequate and towels were not good quality. Staff everywhere was very nice and responsive. Due to rain eating venue was limited to one and not able to accommodate all guests with little places to have a drink to wait. Maybe next time we come without our pet and see how it goes.

We stayed at Gurneys years ago and had a great time. This time is wasn’t as good. The suite wasn’t in good condition. The bathroom was really beat up and the room blah. The staff wasn’t friendly and the inside pool area was too crowded. Visiting the spa was an ordeal. We had to make appointments just to go and check it out. It was a disappointing stay.

A stay to remember and cherish!
I had requested a room with minimal stairs because of my husband's recent knee surgery. Gurney's granted my request by giving us a beautiful room at parking lot level with an ocean view. This was our first stay since the spa and pool area was newly renovated. It is beautiful! We always enjoy our glasses of cognac by the fire pit next to the dining area. Had a wonderful and relaxing visit. The staff is so friendly and helpful.
