Casas de campo en Montañas Blancas

"The place was peaceful and calm. Check in and check out instructions were clear and easy to follow. Overall the place was clean, but the light above the shower had vents that are dirty. We also weren’t aware there were bunk beds. Regardless, it all worked out and we had a lovely stay. The area is gorgeous and there’s a walking path to a beach front area along the river. The instructions for that finding that could have been clearer. We heard from a neighbor across the way. Lastly, there was a...

"A vintage cottage in a wooded setting with little trails close by along a stream. Cottage very clean and well-equipped, old vintage cottage furniture and tchotchkes. Lovely quiet place to return to after a long day of exploration and visits. We recommended a few fixes but nothing that would keep us from visiting again."

We'd rented the cabin to go to a wedding and weekend events. Checked out an hour before checkout time to get to the event--unshowered-- and called the host, who didn't pick up. Left a message reporting the problem, and then we were told that we should have spoke to him to have him fix the problem...

"Overall a decent stay, I would recommend it for a winter ski trip. Not so much for as a summer location, no amenities on site at all. The kitchen is fully functional and has everything you would need. Family room in the basement was a winner for keeping the kids happy."
