Crazy Horse Memorial. Started in1948, And still not finish
This sculpted will be the worlds largest mountain carving. A dedication to Crazy Horse the great warrior of the Teton Sioux. Sculptor Korczak Ziolkowski began carving the memorial in 1948, requested by Cheif Henry Standing Bear & other Lakota elders. Korczak died in 1982, since then the work has been continued by Mrs Ziolkowski & seven of their children. There is a great visitors centre at the site, it's simply amazing!
