This is one of the nicest rentals I have stayed at while in the hills. The location is great. It has everything you look for in a rental. Clean, big nice size bedrooms. The beds felt like new mattresses. The hot tub was a great end to the day. I will stay here again and would recommend it to anyone headed to the hills.

Clean, clean, clean! We called this place our home for nearly a full week, and I cannot say enough positive things about it! We were highly satisfied with everything from check in to check out. The location worked well because we were able to ride the UTV trails around both Custer and Hill City, and the home is located in between the two. Jack and Lindy had even put together a little welcome package of snacks and wine and had it placed on the kitchen table upon our arrival! It was a clean and cozy place to stay, and we hope to be back soon! We highly recommend staying here!

This place is beautiful and the amenities are all there. Well stocked with silver ware dishes and glasses. And the host is extremely quick to communicate and they insist you just leave at the end. No “strip the beds and put it in the wash” or “do the dishes “. NOOOO. They actually want you to just enjoy yourself. Outstanding ! Best place I have ever rented.

Nice little cabin

Cabin was well appointed and had everything we needed. Hot tub was great after sightseeing all day. Location was convenient to everything we wanted to visit in the area but the flip side to being so close to the highway was the traffic noise. We didn’t realize when we booked it that it was literally right off the highway so the noise made it tough to sleep in the master bedroom which fronts to the road. We appreciated the spices, condiments and propane the owners provided to cook at home. Thank you!

Convenient to Michelson trail and other Black Hill adventures

We came to bike the Michelson Trail, which runs right behind the property. Easy to jump on and bike in either direction. We enjoyed the back deck and fire pit and grill at the end of the day. The location is super convenient for all Black Hills adventures. Super close to Crazy Horse and Mount Rushmore.

Perfect Site

We loved staying here (and so did our dog)! The house was spotless, well equiped and in a very central location. The owners communicated quickly and clearly and were very accomodating. The outside area was shady and private. A special place in a beautiful spot!!!

What a Black Hills Gem

This VRBO was everything we hoped for and more! The location was absolutely perfect—close to everything we needed while still feeling peaceful and private. The space was spotless and clearly well cared for, with thoughtful touches and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was beautifully appointed, and you can tell the hosts put a lot of effort into creating a welcoming environment. Truly a delightful experience from start to finish. A wonderful cabin well located near Custer, South Dakota. It had everything we needed for our stay. The location was great and it was very comfortable and clean, with all the amenities we could want. All of the information we needed was available and well organized. Highly recommended!

Easter Weekend

Brought our family up for a quick Easter weekend trip. The property was in a perfect location for all the family attractions. It was a really “homey” cabin with all the blankets, pillows, and decorations. Hottub was in perfect condition and a great way to end our evenings. Would definitely recommend

We had a wonderful stay at this vacation home in Custer, SD! The house was spotless and clearly well-maintained, with a layout that was perfect for our family. There was plenty of space for everyone to relax, and the setup made it easy to spend time together while still having some privacy. The location couldn’t have been better—close to town, yet peaceful and surrounded by beautiful scenery. It made the perfect home base for exploring the Black Hills. Highly recommend for anyone planning a family trip to the area!

Wonderful cabin

This was the perfect place for us to stay on our week away during spring break. We stayed with my parents as well as our children, 3 and 6 y/o. There is plenty of space and the loft is great for a little separation when needed (our kids spent some time drawing and doing crafts upstairs). The hot tub is lovely, kitchen is nicely stocked with supplies. They really have thought of everything - plenty of towels, night lights, extra toiletries, games, lots of blankets. Jack was great at communicating and even came by to clear snow off of the driveway and porches. Cabin is cozy, close to Custer and Hill City as well as Mount Rushmore and the wildlife loop. We were able to visit Reptile Gardens which was great for our little ones and an easy drive. Would recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable cabin, either for just a small family or with extended family.
