The room was fine and the bed comfortable. The towels were plentiful and plush. There was no mat for outside the shower but we did find an old beach towel to use for a mat. The coffee maker was a plus since I enjoy drinking coffee in the morning on a balcony listening to the sound of the ocean. Here’s where it turns south for me. Although the listing mentioned a balcony, there wasn’t one and the only thing I heard Saturday morning was the sound of a circular saw in an adjacent room starting at 8 am. I would not have booked this stay if I had known there was no balcony or if there was mention of the construction. This was not construction in the next building although that was going on also. It was on the other side of the bedroom wall which allowed me to hear their radio and conversation along with the saw. The resort was pleasant, not overly crowded and the walk to the beach was easy. The pool was nice and the hot tub worked Friday night but Saturday it didn’t get warm. I appreciate transparency in a listing and passed up several that were directly on the beach for the two things that made me give this a mediocre rating, the lack of a balcony and no mention of the construction that was going on. Other than that it was clean, comfortable and safe.
