Making Beach Memories with Grandkiddos

This beach trip to Destin proved to be an excursion down memory lane with plenty of new memories mixed in, too. Emerald Shores offers the perfect spot to access the beach, as well as enjoy one of two pools. Restaurants and fast-food chains are close by. We discovered a Dollar General right next door to the resort for pop-in needs like lost flip-flops and extra sun screen! Our host responded within moments if we had a concern. I’m not sure anyone could expect more than this to embrace a special time with their beloveds.

House rentals Game Changer

We have been coming to Destin/Miramar beach area for 10 years and have always enjoyed our condo stays. This year we ventured out and stayed in a lovely home. We were not disappointed! Loved the response time with the owner and overall enjoyed this experience. We will definitely return next year!

I cannot say enough about how easy the team was to deal with. We had a lot of questions before, and during, our stay and we had prompt, friendly and helpful responses. The home is beautiful and we had more than enough space for our family of 7.

Quick recharge

We have stayed in this neighborhood several times in different homes & they are all cute as can be. This home was clean & plenty of room for six adults. The neighborhood feels safe & cozy-the atmosphere is nostalgic, we love it here. You are within walking distance to two of the best places to eat on the whole beach. Kenny D's & Captain Dave's. So soak up the sun all day & no one has to drive anywhere to get a good meal.

Summer Retreat Beach House

The house is in a nice gated community. It is situated in a cul-de-sac, which was perfect for us. Upon entering the house it just felt warm and inviting. It has everything you would need and would find in your own home. The private patio is the perfect spot for relaxing, grilling and entertaining. It’s a five minute walk to the beach or you can opt to ride the shuttle. One of the perks that we loved was having an umbrella and two chairs courtesy of the owner. We loved our stay so much we extended it for another week! Our host, Bill, was the best! He made our stay very enjoyable and comfortable, always available when we needed him. You won’t regret making this your home away from home. We can’t wait to go back!!!

Family Beach Trip

The best vacation spot! We traveled from Monday-Sunday and Bill, the owner was extremely nice and was quick to respond to any questions! Great and clean place to stay and a short walk to the beach! We will definitely be staying here again!

Perfect size

There were seven of us and three children, 13, 10 and 4. The house was the perfect size, and we particularly enjoyed the private patio, which had a hose to wash remaining sand off our feed before entering the house. The kitchen was a good size and had nice appliances. After some confusion as to whether we needed parking passes, Bill called me to straighten out the mixed emails and all was well after that.

The house was just as pictured. Kitchen was well equipped. Every thing you needed to make any meal. The washer and dryer were very nice . Cannot complain about anything. Would recommend to anyone.

Overall very nice, would stay again..

It was very spacious on the inside, and very clean. We had 10 people with us and we had plenty of room. We were close to the pool, and a shirt walk to the private access to the beach. There are two pools one closer to the entrance and one in the middle. Both are kinda small but were perfect for our kids. The best part was the shuttle service that they provided to take you to the beach (this was a lifesaver for the grandparents). The house is fully stocked with just about anything you will need. Just bring extra trash bags and laundry soap. The master suite is very nice and roomy, stays colder than all the other rooms in the house, but the bed isn't very comfortable (it's not unbearable though). The other 2 rooms beds are great. The driveway is kinda small and you can only park two cars there, with extra parking by the pool. We did have a couple of issues while there such as not being able to unlock the bedroom door from the outside when one of the kids accidentally locked the door from the inside (all the doors inside have to be unlocked with a key, that is not in the house, and the doors will unlock from the inside but stay locked on the outside) When I let the booking agent know she was quick to call the owner's and they responded quickly and they resolved it quickly. The air conditioning stopped working overnight one night, I think it froze up. We massaged the booking agent and she was quick to call the AC repair service, we left to go sight seeing and they had it fixed by the time we came back after dinner. We had no more issues the rest of the week. Overall it was a very pleasant stay, the kids loved all the board games that were there to play. We would definitely stay there again!
