Great Stay

Perfect property for a mix of guests. We had family and friends come and go over our 3 week stay and everyone loved the accommodations.

Florida stay

Good property for our three generation family to stay in. However a house designed for 10 (read cooking for 10) should have more than 2 dish towels and one oven pad. Extra blankets should be provided. Bath towels were sub standard for a quality property. Days Inn towels are much better. The house was advertised with a heated pool. The pool was a community pool and it was locked up. No access.

Family vacation.

It was a very good location and me enjoyed stay The only problem existed was the third floor air conditioning units. They did not work properly. We did receive a refund for the entire stay for every night which made it palpable to accept.

Golf cart is what sold us

Let me start off by saying property is beautiful and close to the beach. Golf cart that’s included makes everything easy. Commuting back and forth from the beach, going to the store, restaurants and just cruising around we were able to keep the sand out of our vehicles. First night we got there the 3rd floor was warm, ~77 degrees, we just assumed that it would cool at night but it never did. Called the property manager next day and he had an AC tech out within an hour to fix it and brought two portable AC units just in case we had any more issues. I was very impressed with the quickness to solve our issue with the HVAC. We did have someone steal our beach chairs at night that we left out by the trash cans after washing the sand off so bring your stuff inside at night, I blame myself for that one. Only con I can think of was the floors were very dirty, I hate wearing shoes and it showed when my feet were black after walking around the property for a day. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book this property again.

Starfish Chateau

The house was super clean and so comfortable. There was plenty of room for everyone. I wish the pool was larger and centrally located. Although the house is not on the beach the golf cart was a definite plus for hauling people and beach stuff. Easy check in and check out procedures. I would recommend the Starfish especially if you’re not a pool person.

The property was perfect for our family; the convenience of the golf cart put it over the top. Mirmar Beach is a beautiful family friendly area. Our only suggestion would be salt and pepper for the kitchen.

A fun thanksgiving with family

The condo is in a great location and the golf cart was a great addition! The cons was the dryer upstairs did not dry the clothes, there was not enough comfortable seating in the living area for the 12 ppl it sleeps and not enough kitchen utensils/essentials for that amount of ppl either. The condo was clean upon arrival, we did have a good time despite the cons.

Amazing house, amazing location, golf cart was perfect. House was clean and organized! Admin was quick to respond to all questions! Worked with us on hurricane evacuation/refund. Definitely would love to come back! Roy, the maintenance worker was also VERY helpful! Will certainly be back next year!

Why was check in at 4 ?!!

Check was at 4 but the place wasn’t cleaned and they charge a cleaning fee for what??! We cleaned up once we arrived it was literally dirt all over the floor! Other than that we had a good stay everyone had ample enough space and they were comfortable!

End of summer trip

House is lovely. We enjoyed the beautiful decorating & fine finishes. Be warned: if you don’t like stairs, do not rent this house! We loved that we were allowed to bring our pups along. We really don’t have anything negative to say about the home. Some suggestions would be: a Keurig coffee maker, a new wine opener (the one provided was broken), nicer wine glasses, a wireless speaker, counter spray to wipe off counters. Other than that the home is really well stocked and the golf cart is a wonderful extra.

Nice family vacation house

My family and I definitely enjoyed our stay here during our visit to destin beaches . The space is definitely perfect for multiple families. You are fairly close to the beach and having the use of the golf cart makes it nice . The pool is very small but we didn’t mind since we stayed at the beach mostly . If you enjoy sleeping in but have younger kids who get up early , the pitter patter of feet up and down the stairs is extremely loud and the walls seem pretty thin so keep that in mind . I do feel what we payed was overpriced considering the location of the house and amenities. All in all , it was a very nice place to vacation and my family enjoyed it during our stay in Destin .

Perfect home for a large family

We had a wonderful during our stay. This home is spacious and extremely comfy! The house is equipped with everything you need for your stay, the golf cart is a plus and so convenient. The community pool can get a little crowded at times but not a big deal. Would totally recommend this property for large families with kids.
