WARNING There is a mold issue at this home. Message them to make sure this issue has been resolved before you stay here. I don’t consider myself or my family high maintenance. Small things are easy for us to let go of. So what we had to go to the store and buy soap for the bathrooms and there was maybe 1 washcloth in the whole house and no washcloth for kitchen counters, and the lockbox was finicky and hard to open, but when it comes to health I get a little upset. How could no one have seen this mold in the closet until me? I noticed right away and I went to put a bag in the closet. How could no one have noticed the VERY strong mildew smell in the living room coming from the rug? Fortunately, we lucked out with BEAUTIFUL weather for August so we were able to open the windows which helped some in the living room. As far as addressing the mold in the closet, I have yet to receive a sincere apology or answer to my partial refund request. With no alternative place to stay, we chose to hang plastic over the closet door and tape around it to seal it the best we could. Although, I know mold can still make you sick when it’s behind walls. The slow or no response time when messaging the owner or employee is frustrating as well.It’s unfortunate because it’s a beautifully remodeled home with a great location! We made the best of it.
