Working in Town

We were in town working on short notice. This was exactly what we needed. The host was able to get us in same day and extend our stay an extra night.

Family vacation w ATVs

We loved our stay! There were 6 adults and we were there to ride side-by-sides. The location of the house is just outside of Meeker and close to the trails and other outdoor activities. For those trailering ATVs, they have plenty of outdoor space for parking. The owners are friendly and helpful and the house is spacious and clean. This is beautiful country and we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this home to anyone looking to stay inthe area.

OHV vacation

We had a fantastic stay at the Bar7. Beds and pillows were super comfortable. We loved the quiet secluded location and that we were able to ride our 4 wheelers from the property up to the trails. We will absolutely be staying again!

Hidden Gem

We had an excellent time at the Bar 7 Ranch! If you are looking to get away from it all and relax, this is the place for you. The hosts where most gracious and accommodating. The property is gorgeous with plenty of room for everyone. You must enjoy the sunsets on the back porch and revel in the silence! We loved our stay there and hope to return in the future!

Family gathering in memory of recently deceased husband/father/grandfather.

Wonderful old family ranch house with great updates. Lots of room for family to gather in small groups. Great for kids to see the horses and everyday ranching activities. Also easy access to OHV trails which we enjoyed.

Awesome house with plenty of room for family and friends

We had 10 adults on this trip and the house was very comfortable with plenty of sleeping and living space. The house was well situated for access to the Wagon Wheel trail system as well. Everyone enjoyed their time on the property!

Wonderful ranch property

We had a big family OHV trip to Meeker, CO. The hosts were extremely friendly & accommodating to all of our needs. The property is beautiful with amazing views & had absolutely everything that we could ask for! After long days of riding, the extra showers & large house were exactly what we needed. We loved sitting outside around the patio & fire pit & enjoying the yard & scenery. We would love to stay again, beautiful property & great people!

Awesome place! We’ll be back.

Excellent location. Best sleep at night we’ve had in quite some time due to being in the country with no noise pollution. Enjoyed all that Meeker had to offer, ATV’ing, and a nice trip to Trappers Lake and the Flat Tops. Shannon and Buckshot were excellent hosts and very responsive to our messages.

Relaxing, Beautiful, and Fun!

Our group of 8 adults and 6 kids had an amazing time! Shannon was awesome, we all found her to be super helpful, approachable and fun. The cabin was perfect and super comfortable. The beds were SUPER comfortable and the outdoor patio and area became our favorite place to hangout. We are absolutely planning a return trip for next summer!! Thanks again Shannon and looking forward to seeing you again.

Reunion in meeker

We were in Meeker for a nephew’s wedding. This place was perfect for the family to gather around the breakfast table or in the evenings at the fire pit. It slept 8 comfortably, had plenty of room inside and outside. Each room was appointed well and the beds were all comfortable. The host was very easy to contact and very accommodating

OHV Trip

The property was a perfect location to hit the area ATV trails. Quite location with a wonderful outdoor patio. House was plenty big enough for our group. Clean and well stocked. Shannon, property owner met us when we arrived and was very welcoming. Enjoyed our stay and will plan on returning!

We had the most amazing week with our family at the Bar 7! Home is beautifully decorated and stocked with everything you need to cook and entertain! Group of 4-wheelers enjoy Meeker trails.

Overall an outstanding 4-wheeling trip. We have been on 4-wheel adventures and using VRBO for more than a decade. I may have missed the “extra charge for extra guests “ information . More than 8? It would be very helpful to have more/ newer fry pans.

Charming farmhouse with lovely shaded patio

The home is surrounded by natural beauty And was large enough to comfortably accommodate our big group. Our family enjoyed the shaded patio for dinners and game time in the evenings. The host was responsive and friendly and the house was well equipped with everything we needed. Overall, we enjoyed our time and loved having them together in remote, beautiful and quiet place for a few days. Two downsides: The summer weather was warmer than expected, the kitchen really heats up and is hard to cool and the AC units couldn’t keep up. And the cleaning expectations are higher than other rentals we have stayed at so we spent a lot of time our last full day cleaning so we could leave early on our check out day. Many thanks to Shannon for hosting us!

Relaxing haven

We really enjoyed slowing down at the Bar 7. The kids played with the lawn games, checked in on the horses, and played on the rope swing. We enjoyed leisurely dinners out on the patio under the shady trees, and coffee in the morning with the birds (great birdwatching!). It's so quiet! More than enough space for our two families of four. Note there is an additional small stand-alone guest house/studio on the property, so if you prefer to have the yard and outdoor space entirely to your group, rent both units (the house and smaller guest house).
