This was a third trip to the cabin; it's such a comfortable place to stay in a beautiful setting. We enjoyed listening to the morning bird song from the back porch, homecooked-meals in the well-appointed kitchen, reading by the living room fireplace, evenings by the fire pit, walking the on-property trails with our pup, and star gazing in the hot tub after a full day of hiking in Yosemite. This time we even got to see the northern lights! The hosts and care-taker were quick to respond to any questions or concerns that came up. Thank you Lanners family for welcoming us back; we hope to return again soon!

This place was absolutely amazing for our Yosemite getaway. Very cozy decor and the outside views were phenomenal. The photos don't do this listing enough justice. The kitchen was also fully stocked with anything you could need to cook meals. And the place was absolutely spotless when we checked in. I wish we could have stayed longer but plan on booking again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful and well-equipped property near Mariposa. The owners really thought of everything, it was the most well-outfitted rental home I've stayed in. The grounds were lovely, I enjoyed walking the trails and the views from the back patio in the evenings after venturing into Yosemite about an hour away.

Beautiful cabin & property

My 2 daughters & I stayed at this lovely cabin for 3 nights for a girls getaway. When the cabin came into view at the end of a short dirt, gravel road we cheered because it was so pretty! The cabin & property exceeded our expectations. Everything was perfect. Clean, cozy, well stocked, nicely decorated. The perfect balance of rustic & modern. We loved sitting on the covered porch taking in the views of the mountains. The location is private & peaceful. We hope to return the same time next year as it was still pretty green & there were tons wild flowers. It was just beautiful!.

Great stay

My family stayed here for a few days during our spring break. It was secluded and quiet. Our dog had never been in the "wild" and was in love. Our only regret was the length of our stay. With Yosemite not too far, a couple more days would have been better for the famil.

We stayed at the Eastwood Ravine this past weekend for our dad’s 82nd birthday! The cabin was very nicely appointed and small details that were so well thought out! Flashlights, nightlights and such were readily available. The hot tub was clean and comfortable as were the showers. We had a wonderful time and will absolutely book with them again! Highly recommend!

Lovely getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit at Eastwood Cabin. Meal prep was easy in the well stocked kitchen, views from the front porch were beautiful, our two day visit was relaxing, and exactly what we needed after the busy holidays

Perfect cabin

My family and I very much enjoyed our stay at the Eastwood Ravine Cabin! It had everything we needed to make our holiday getaway perfect. The cabin was very clean with comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen. The location was not too far from Yosemite and an outing of horseback riding. We will definitely be returning.

This property is an exceptional place to stay! Off the beaten path and private, the decor and finishing touches are perfect! Well done! Yosemite is close and easy to get to. Oakhurst and Mariposa, each way from the cottage, offer good dining options. Would most certainly stay at the Cottage Retreat again!

West Coast Trip

Cozy family friendly cottage!

My husband and sons (7 and 10) spent 3 nights at this clean, comfortable and well equipped cabin. We spent most of our time at Yosemite which is about a 45 min drive but definitely worth it to stay at this property. Hot tub under the stars was awesome!

Cottage retreat

Cabin is absolutely fantastic. Completely stocked with everything you need. Proximity to Yosemite is great with wide open areas to relax once you come back. Unfortunately a fire broke out approx 10 miles away. With that the utilities company shut off the power and water. Contacted management but no reply till we were packed up and leaving about 24 hours later. But it was the 4th of July holiday. Temperatures at about 100 degrees with no power (A/C) we left one day early. Bummed we weren’t able to stay another day to enjoy this property

Lovely stay near Yosemite

We had a fantastic stay at this house! The property manager was very responsive and helped us a couple of times very promptly. The house was comfortable with great A/C and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the back porch in the mornings and the stars in the evenings. We used this place as a launching point for several activities: White Water Rafting on the Merced River, Exploring Yosemite, and boating at Bass Lake. It was a great start to our summer!

Lovely Stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Ted’s cottage. He has done a wonderful job at restoring and decorating it and it truly felt like staying at a dear friend’s house. Everything we needed was provided and the beds were super comfortable. We really appreciated all of the “extras”, like laundry detergent, trash bags and bath products. The hot tub was wonderful to come home to after a long day hiking in Yosemite! We had some frustrating experiences with the property manager, but Ted was apologetic and made things right.

Coziest Cottage

Wonderful Cabin

We enjoyed the quiet remoteness of this cabin on their 40 acre property. My boys especially enjoyed the pond and catching frogs and toads! Everything was top of the line from the cleanliness to the quality of the linens. Would highly recommend.
