"This property and its host are simply outstanding. Located in the North Yorkshire countryside, the property is a converted barn, adjacent to the main farmhouse. While retaining the charm of the old structure, it has thoroughly modern kitchen and bathrooms. The is an en-suite bedroom on the ground floor as well as an en-suite bedroom upstairs. "Well-located just 20 mins walk from all the main sights in York's historical centre and includes free parking space for one car. Readily accommodates 6 people in kingside / twin beds in 3-storey townhouse. Well fitted out and spotlessly clean on arrival (and our departure!). "

"Absolutely the best organized of the places we stayed so far. This is the 13th of 16 stays. The pictures do not due the location justice. If you have a question on how something works, just look up or around and there is a description on how to use it. A great inventory of things you may need (ex coffee) is supplied. We really enjoyed this place not to mention really close to getting inside the Great Wall around the city. Will definitely stay here again if we ever make it back from the states. "
