It was a comfortable stay. The welcoming staff were kind and helpful. The room was lovely, and I loved the fact that there was an Air con unit but it made a lot of noise on start up and during so we had to turn it off after a while. Everything else was great!

The staff were friendly and attentive. Ok so the room had signs of wear but I was expecting that but overall clean and well kept, the bed linen was clean and the bathroom was well kept, I would recommend this little gem of a place and I look to return in future

We stayed for a couple of nights and chose Tulse Hill Hotel because it had parking. Check in was straight forward in the bar area. The air con in the room was AMAZING (we stayed during the heatwave). Room was a good size and the bed was really comfortable. Really clean and the decor had some character rather than all modern items. The hotel is situated in a busy junction and we could hear the traffic but not to the extent that it caused a problem or disturbance to sleep. Good transport links with bus stops and station close by. We were attending an event at Crystal Palace Park and it was easy to get to and from. We had breakfast at the pub one morning (an extra) and it was really good and reasonably priced. There was an area to sit outside and, again very close to the junction but it really wasn’t a noise problem at all. We’d definitely stay there again and recommend it. Thanks for a great stay!

Parking behind the hotel made it super easy to get in and out when renting a car. Yummy food as well in the restaurant / bar. Staff was very helpful and accomodating.

Lovely hotel in the south of London

The hotel is set above a beautiful bar. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the room was warm and comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and I really enjoyed my morning shower

Overpriced, Poorly Renovated Rooms and Disappointing Service The hotel is overpriced for what it offers. The rooms are below standard and still in need of proper renovation. Although some effort has clearly been made to update the property, the workmanship looks amateurish, more like a handyman's project than a professional hotel renovation. Paint was peeling in the room, the air conditioning did not work, and the twin beds were ridiculously small and uncomfortable. The restaurant has a well-presented menu, but the food does not live up to expectations. The taste was mediocre at best, and the portions were small. Service was equally disappointing. One female staff member on duty was unhelpful and unpleasant. Her attitude was appalling, especially considering the restaurant was practically empty. There was no reason for such poor and inattentive service. Overall, the hotel falls well short of what one would expect for the price charged. Poor workmanship, substandard rooms, disappointing food, and mediocre service made this an unsatisfactory experience. The property needs professional improvements and better customer service before it can justify its rates.

Room was clean and facilities good. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was cooked. I would have preferred some continental breakfast options ie cereal etc. We booked the hotel because of the parking and it was available. Only issue being the car park is not clearly signed and we drove past it on a very busy road which made our arrival rather stressful. Better signage would be helpful.

We arrived at the hotel early so left our case with the staff as we were going to our daughter’s birthday party. Arrived back at the hotel at about 9.30p.m to be taken to our room. I was shocked it was the smallest room and as I’d paid £232 plus £50 deposit for the largest room. When we went down to breakfast the next morning I spoke to a lady there and she said that the rooms had got mixed up. Then we were informed that the kitchen was closed for breakfast as they were waiting for an engineer!!

Meeting in location and found this little gem. Very efficient and accomodating. The onsite parking is a clear winner with tasteful interiors and a great bar! What more do you need!

The bathroom sink was extremely slow to drain. The shampoo holder was broken and laying in the tub. The windows had cobwebs. We were given 2 towels for 4 people and treated like it was too much to ask for 2 more. We pulled out the sofa bed for the kids and there was a dirty comforter on it and no sheets. Again, treated like it was too much to ask for linen. And yes, I booked the room for 2 adults and 2 kids. The coffee maker didn’t work. The Sunday Roast in the pub had clearly been sitting for a long time. Several menu items weren’t available.

The hotel is in need of refurbishment, choise of food for dinner was limited but food was satisfactory. It was a noisy situation with a lot of passing traffic.
