First and foremost, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful staff. Thank you for making our stay truly unforgettable. My daughter was here to attend her university graduation, and we chose this hotel as the place to mark such an important milestone in her life. Having previously lived nearby, I was already familiar with the location and the beautiful building—but what lies within is a world that only those who stay here have the privilege of discovering. The salon and lobby are both beautifully designed and full of character. Even something as simple as having coffee at breakfast was made special by the lovely women who served us with such warmth and care. And the gentlemen at the entrance were always dependable, gracious, and absolutely wonderful. This was more than just a hotel stay; it became part of a very special memory for our family. We will most certainly return. With our heartfelt thanks. Ayako &Maoko

The room was extremely small. No place for a suitcase except on top of the small built-in desk. No space in the bathroom even for a small trash bin. One could not bend down to pick up anything without smacking one’s head on the side. In fact, entering the narrow shower requires one to enter sideways and to carefully hold onto a handle to avoid falling (and I’m a fit person). The shower doors would not close all the way, the room AC rattled and was so loud it sounded like a lawn mower in the room. The elevator uses an old fashioned metal sliding door you must manually close when leaving otherwise it won’t respond to calls from other floors. Guests don’t always do this and staff do not keep an eye on it so be prepared to have to walk down or up stairs most of the time. For “breakfast”, which is extremely light the tables one sits at are the size of a shoe—enough for a cup of coffee. And there are only 3-4 places. The public rooms, and ballrooms, however, are beautiful! I was eventually moved to a larger room but only on the last day of the stay, and even that process was awkward with poor communication from the staff. For the price I paid—£440 per night—I would never go back.

Das Personal, besonders Darren und Sopa, waren außergewöhnlich aufmerksam, herzlich, hilfsbereit und freundlich und haben den Aufenthalt einmal mehr zu einem besonders angenehmen Erlebnis gemacht. Wir werden gerne wieder buchen, sollten wir noch einmal herkommen.

Absolutely great location, minutes away from Knightsbridge tube and minute walk from Harrods. Great location for exploring all London has to offer! The room was very clean and well equipped. The only negative was breakfast which was a tray with orange juice, activia yoghurt, croissant and tea/ coffee/ hot chocolate. So if you’re expecting a wide selection of cooked breakfast/ continental this is not the place. That said staff were very friendly but attention to detail was lacking, for example tables were not laid for breakfast - just served on a tray.

A totally charming boutique hotel that made our stay in London feel as if we were the only guests in a gracious home. The rooms were well-appointed and comfortable, yet the standout features were the responsive staff and the lovely public areas (including the rooftop garden) in which we enjoyed a delightful breakfast. No. 30 Knightsbridge is a unique choice in a first-class neighborhood.

No.30 Knightsbridge was a fabulous experience from the minute we checked in. Jules was the perfect host and welcomed us all warmly. The rooms we had were spotless, lovely toiletries and really comfortable, immaculate beds. The hotel staff managing the front desk late at night were really helpful too when we returned back late after our theatre evening. Complimentary breakfast was super and a great start to the day. This hotel is literally around the corner from Harrods, you’re straight into the high street after a very short walk. We will return, as our stay was perfect.

Jules was an extremely helpful and kind memeber of the team who greeted me at check-in and gifted me with an upgrade. What a lovely surprise!! I was although taken aback by the fact that there are no common areas at the hotel in use at the moment. So it is more of an B&B than a hotel. I did get a lovely complimentary in-room breakfast! Excellent location or shopping, Hyde Park etc although immediate surrounding area is not very nice.

One mishap but would use again

Great location and hotel is very well fitted out and live the quirky lift. Only down side was we were given our keys to the room and upon entering somebody else stuff was there. They had given us the wrong room. It was all sorted but made us a bit uneasy. But comfortable, clean, hot water and slept well. Just remember this hotel does not do breakfast and I knew this so find a little cafe nearby (there are plenty).

Underwhelming and a bit odd.

Don't think they've ever had a family stay there. No cot even though I said so was bringing a 1 year old. The upstairs area is very grand & smart, but feels like no one has ever been in it. It just all feels like some sort of shell for something else... Finding someone else's underwear in the draws wasn't ideal.

Giving only 2 stars because of the great location and the staff was amazing , from the reception to the cleaning staff , otherwise I would rate this hotel at 0 stars. I still don’t understand how the room costed me $400 a night. The hotel is so extremely old even tho it looks like they did renovation . Yet , the hotel and rooms smell disgusting, yet like mold . Shower and toilet another subject to talk about . You pretty much paying for the location , but totally not worth it . This hotel can’t cost more than $200 a night . Only the amazing personnel is making this hotel is . Extremely sweet , patient, helpful .

We stayed here with our family for just 1 night in late December. The hotel website and Orbitz both advertised the Temple of Flora Suite as a three-bedroom suite. We booked that as we were traveling as a family (2 adults and 4 children). The idea of being all together in a suite was perfect for international travel with young children. When we arrived, we found out the "suite" was in fact two completely separate rooms. The hotel was completely unapologetic and unhelpful; thus we were required to stay in separate rooms from our young children. Also, we only got 1 key per room. In an effort to make it so kids could get to us if needed, we left our key with our kids to come in if needed. There was only one person on call at the hotel lobby at any time and the front door is always locked. Guests do not get a key. Twice we had to wait over 5 minutes outside the hotel for the staff to unlock the door. Once was after 11pm at night- it was not safe at all and not great to leave your guests in the cold. I will not stay here again and will not recommend this hotel to friends despite the great location.
