Great apartment in great location

We enjoyed our weeklong stay in this apartment with our four children (ages 16-23) in late December. Everything was great and it totally met our needs. The location is great - an easy walk to Victoria Station and bus stops that serve all of the central London locations that we visited (get the TfL Go app), and easy walk to Buckingham Palace / St. James Park. The grocery store is close by and we made a few meals in the kitchen, and there are several great restaurants within a one block walk. Would definitely stay here again.

This property had plenty of space for the four of us to spread out to watch TV in the family room and have dinner and games in the kitchen at the large table. Everything was very clean and comfortable, and the decor was charming.The location was perfect. Having never been to England, I wasn’t sure where to stay. We like to explore by foot and be in locations where we can walk vs rent a vehicle, and this location was perfect. One block up there was a large grocery store that had everything we needed, and there were restaurants all around us, including right next door.In addition, there’s an underground stop just a block away in two different directions that will take you to the many many attractions around the city in just a few minutes. The tube is easy to learn after your first go, just be sure to get an oyster card at the station and you’ll travel quickly, responsibly, and economically.

Nice location in London

The property was a great landing spot to explore London. We chose it based on the proximity to Victoria Station, but were pleasantly surprised by the GREAT food everywhere just at the corner. The rooms on the uppermost level were a bit small for people and luggage but we all managed for as much as we were in the house. The kitchen and table were great on the lower level for a good game of Uno each night. The grocery store right around the corner was also key. Would consider staying here again when visiting!!

Nice. But not well suited to us

The house is clean, modern inside, very well kitted out and bright. But we were a family group with elderly folk. So the stairs proved too much. It’s spread across 4 levels. We made the mistake of thinking the lounge and kitchen/dining were on the same floor. They’re not. Plus there was a lot of traffic and street noise.

We enjoyed our week’s stay at this location. We have visited London several times and stayed in several rentals. This is a rowhouse with private entry located about a 3-minute walk from Victoria Station. The location is very convenient with a variety of restaurants and pubs, grocers, and other conveniences. We appreciated being able to drop off our luggage after arriving on an overnight flight. A nice cleaning lady greeted us and instructed us where to store our luggage until the home was ready for us.The home layout includes four floors and plenty of steps between each floor. •Ground Floor (Kitchen/dining area with a half bathroom and the only television on site)•Main/Entry Level Floor (a small living room with a small futon-like couch and two sitting chairs and an adjacent room that is empty with no furniture)•2nd Floor (master bedroom with ensuite bathroom)•3rd floor (two small bedrooms and one full bathroom)The Main Floor needs a television, better furniture to make it functional and comfortable. We hardly used that space. Kitchen could use chairs with backs since that is the only gathering place.The kitchen is well-stocked with plates, utensils, etc. Towels, paper towels, soaps, etc were provided. Bedrooms and full bathrooms on upper levels are nice and spacious. There is street noise given the location but ear plugs/white noise help.Management is fairly responsive to text/chat.Great restaurants and bars nearby. We loved Prince of Wales pub!
