Hi there Thank you so much for taking the time to review your stay with us Generator London is a very old building that was originally a police training barracks. Unfortunately with it being a listed building, the opportunity for us to change the shape and size of the rooms is not there. We have arranged the rooms in the best possible way to accommodate our guests comfortably and safely and I am sorry you feel we haven’t achieved that. We hope to see you again soon

Generator is an international chain of hostels with a lively and dynamic atmosphere and always we do our best to make sure that everything is under control with a reception team working 24/7 and the everyday collaboration of our security staff who is continuously checking the hostel. I'm disappointed to read that the cleanliness of the bathrooms was below satisfactory and I'll share your comment with the housekeeping manager to assure that this won't happen again in the future. Regarding the communal kitchen, I'm sorry if you were expecting to find one but this is not a facility that Generator offers. Our lifestyle brand encourages social interaction and exploring and experiencing our local area to the fullest, including some of the great restaurants and bars in the area. Our café is open from morning to night with great and affordable options and our reception team would have been more than happy to recommend some local favourites.
