I was looking for a safe, clean budget hotel within walking distance of Camden music venues. That's exactly what I got. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Room was basic, but clean and comfortable. It suited my needs perfectly.

Hotel picture on website is for the property being refurbised at the rear of the actual cornerhouse hotel? Friendly staff. Room booked was adequate size for stay period, but was a bit noisy with velux windows open due to main road outside. Double bed mattress was not very comfortable. Room decoration was a bit tired looking. Breakfast choices limited. Bus stops nearby and camden town 10-15 mins walk away. Overall, a good experience.

Have stayed at this hotel a few times now and it hasusually been very good. This time toilet would not flush TV did not work. Instead of china cups cutlery etc for breakfast, we had same food options but plastic cutlery, plastic bowls and clear plastic cups for Tea/coffee.

Hôtel basique, pour dormir seulement

On nous a mis dans une chambre sous les toits, au 4ième étage sans ascenseur, il y faisait une température infernale. 2 petits vélux donnant seulement sur le ciel qu'on devait laisser ouverts toute la nuit à cause de la chaleur à l'intérieur alors qu'il faisait 10 degrés à l'extérieur, le tout sur une rue hyper passante et bruyante. La télévision et le coffre fort étaient hors d'usage. Petit déjeuner pauvre, triste et sans aucune variété. Le bon point est la propreté. Dommage que les équipements et la décoration soient si passés et en mauvais état (carrelage cassé, joints mal faits...).

GROSSE SURPRISE EN ARRIVANT !!!!!!

Nous avions réservé 4 ou 5 mois avant notre départ 4 chambres dans cet hotel. Nous sommes arrivés à l’accueil et la personne nous dit que nous allons être relogé dans un autre de leurs hôtels (LONDON KINGS HOTEL) à plus d’une heure de marche sous prétexte que l’hotel où nous avions réservé est en travaux… quelle surprise ! Soit disant qu’il nous avait prévenu par mail… Après vérification c’est exact sauf qu’il a envoyé le mail la veille et que nous étions déjà dans l’avion ! J’estime que les travaux n’ont pas démarrés la veille et qu’ils auraient pu nous informer bien plus tôt ! Nous avions réservé ici, car pas loin de Camden et nous nous retrouvons à plus d’une heure de marche dans un quartier qui ne nous intéresse pas du tout. Pratique le soir pour trainer ! Après négociation avec Expedia nous avons réussi à avoir le taxi gratuit, mais ca reste une perte de temps quand même Le London kings hotel est très classe. Chambre haut de gamme mais niveau hygiène c’est un peu moyen… (j’ai trouvé un ongle de gros orteil entre la table de chevet et le lit par exemple..)

small but suffucient

The room was just sufficient given my size which is quite obese right now. The en suite bathroom just and so satisfied my needs. The room was clean, particularly the bathroom which I liked. The breakfast was continental but adequate. No complaints given the cost of this room. The downside to this stay was the location of the room without alift. Given my present health, the location on the second floor was somewhat arduous.

This hotel is basic but great for what we wanted.

Midway between Kentish Town and Camden this hotel has all we needed for a base for 2 nights. The room was small but had enough wardrobe space, a kettle, hairdryer and a surprisingly comfy bed. The shower was good with plenty of hot water. Room was clean . Breakfast was not the usual fry up but we really enjoyed it. Would recommend if you are looking for somewhere to have a good night's sleep and use as a base for day's out.

Hotel was ok and most of staff very friendly, the woman sorting the breakfast never said a word. Hotel is what it is but shower acces was tight and tiles need re grouting

It's worth it!

good value for the money to be so close to Camden where we were going to a gig. disappointing that neither bedside lamp worked. bed comfy, shower good. all in all a very basic accommodation. would have been nice to get a cooked breakfast rather than help yourself continental. all in all for the money though, I would stay there again!!

Zwar Renoviert aber eben ............

Das Hotel machr den anschein das es frisch renoviert wurde, jedoch die möbel wurden übernommen. Das Personal war unfreundlich, sie behaupteten sogar das ich nich nicht bezahlt hätte, bis ich die bestätigung vorlegte. W-Lan ist nur in der Lobby, ich war aber im Nebengebäude und hätte immer zurück müssen. Kostenloses W-Lan ja aber nur in der Lobby. Standort zuweit von der innenstadt aber 15 min zu Fuss zum Camden Market.

cheap and cheerfull

the hotel was clean and the staff were helpful, the room was very warm so warm I slept on the bed not in the bed, no cooked breakfast, 4 types of cereal and bread you could toast if you like some cheese and ham, coffee and tea available.

The place was located far from London but in a nice area, so you have to think on transport fares. Very clean and quite room. The only issue no elevator and so many stairs all over

Der Herr läßt auch andere Hotels wachsen.

Die Schmutzwäsche des Vormieters hing noch über der Heizung. Das Zimmer ist feucht und muffig, in den Ecken gibt es Schimmel. Schimmel auch in der Nasszelle. Das Doppelzimmer hat nur eine Sitzgelegenheit. Ein brauch-/nutzbarer Tisch ist nicht vorhanden. Im Fussraum des Schreibtisches befindet sich der Kühlschrank. Die Vorrichtung zur Kaffee-/Teezubereitung besteht aus Wasserkocher, Pulverkaffee und Teebeutel. Besteck bestand aus einem (1) Teelöffel. Aber immerhin: das Duschwasser war heiß. Frühstück gab es. Mehr läßt sich dazu wirklich nicht sagen.

100% consigliato

Camera piccola ma pulita e silenziosa. Situato a 15 minuti a piedi da Camden Town Station o a 5 con il bus. L'unica pecca la colazione un po' troppo basica (caffè istantaneo, fette di pane, marmellata o ham and cheese). Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Consigliatissimo.
