Gran estancia

Estancia perfecta, me encanta la fácil entrada independiente, sin recepción. Yo añadiría un centro de cocina eléctrico, ya hay frigorífico, microondas, todo para cocinar, por qué no añadir una placa eléctrica, mejor que cocinar en el microondas. También una cafetera de cualquier tipo. Aparte de eso, gran estancia!

This is good value, basic accommodation. If you’re looking for a low priced convenient place to stay it is ideal. En-suite shower room and kitchen facilities were good. There was complete flexibility on arrival time so we could arrive very late after a gig with no problem.

I recommend that you fix the floor in room 104. It's broken and feels in a hole. Otherwise, it's comfortable.

Convenient for Beckenham Place Park festivals

I attended a festival in Beckenham Place park, so this was perfect for what I needed - close to the Beckenham Junction exit of the park, cheap and cheerful. It’s a reception free property, but the directions to the property and entry instructions I was provided were excellent. I would stay there again if attending a festival in the park (I’d request a different room, if I were offered 112 again though).

Great location in Beckenham, everything close by, but had to wait til 4.30 to get into our room ,when check in was stated as 3 o'clock. They did apologise and gave a busy schedule as a reason. The cleaners we met were lovely and polite and said the previous tenants were exceptionally messy. Overall good stay, but the apartments do need a little TLC.

Very compact. Too warm with only one rear window opening onto back of restaurant kitchens with fan going all the time. First Toilet flush resulted in a mini-flood in the shower room.

Terribile, letto scomodo, cuscini non confortevoli, caldo insopportabile per mancanza di aria condizionata, pulizie inesistenti, bagno senza specchio, asciugacapelli mancante e scarsa fornitura di shampoo, bagno schiuma, sapone e caffè. Sono scappato dopo pochi giorni.

check in process and communication was good. The bathroom clean and newly painted / refurbed. Clean bedsheets. The bedroom (room 103) however has filthy walls everywhere and stained carpet - it was clear that the walls, blind, carpet etc has not been adequately cleaned or re-painted for a long time.The room is good value but feels unhygienic for renting out. Thanks

Sleepless night

People opposite noisy . Windows high up let light in everytime someone came down the corridor . Heating on full and it was a very hot weather yesterday . And the bed base was broken and the mattress was terrible

I didn’t stay in the “apartment” if that’s what you want to call it. I wish I’d had time to read the reviews before I even booked it. It was nothing like what you see in the picture. It was absolutely disgusting and more like a flea pit. I wasn’t expecting five star luxury but I did expect a bit more than downright dingy and was more akin to a youth hostel somewhere out in the wilds. Bed was the most basic iron frame with a very thin mattress. A stool for a bedside table. A kitchen with no crockery or cutlery so what was the purpose of having a microwave. The table was a folding down one at which you sat on the uncomfortable bed to eat at. The “bathroom” although clean was in a disgusting state. I was in Beckenham for a very exciting occasion and this positively disgusted me. It also disgusted my son who wouldn’t let me stay there, so much so that he booked me into another local hotel. Which by the way was far, far superior and the same cost as it was last minute.

Cheap and cheerful

Fine for the price paid. Remote check in instructions were easy to follow, though the lock box in which to drop keys at check out was wide open. The code I was given to access the laundry room didn’t work. And bed/mattress was uncomfortable. Having said that it was very clean, nice to have a fridge and a microwave. And the price made it quite acceptable.

I didn’t stay. I found another hotel close by and left as soon as I could. I travel a lot and don’t expect a lot within this price range, basic rooms are what I’m used to. However, the paint patches falling off of the walls was such a sad thing to walk into. Then I sat on the bed and the mattress was sunken on one side. I needed a good nights sleep & made the judgement call to find somewhere else. The hotel didn’t offer to find another room or offer any alternative. It was just really disappointing.

Well what an experience this actually was Hole in the floor in the bathroom couldn’t sit on the stained toilet unless you straddles it couldn’t open the doors to the broken shower the bed springs were poking through the mattress Sent to the wrong hotel on the day then started to go to the correct one only to be told to come back to 1 st one It was a ludicrous experience that I would never entertain ever again was given a room number that was already occupied by someone else the place is an absolute joke and I would rather of stayed in a tent for the weekend didn’t want to eat anything in there for fear of cockroaches - coat hangers were cabletied to the clothes rail noisy bar under the bedroom window with girls screaming and arguing Roller blinds just kept unravelling when they pulled down xx it was seriously awful bowed and declared NEVER AGAIN can’t believe you actually charge for the experience! Absolute joke

Dreadful check-in procedure. There's no-one there to check you in (you don't realise that till you get there) and they don't send efficient info beforehand so you know what to do when you get there. Waste a lot of time figuring it out on arrival. Next-door businesses say they have guests come to them every day because people have trouble getting info for getting in and contact info for operators. When you finally get in touch with them on phone, they blame Expedia for one not getting the info. Er, no.... In over a decade booking via Expedia, never had this problem. It was more like a dodgy AirBnB booking.

Disappointing

A member of staff helpfully brought us a haordryer which had been requested at booking and forgotten. The room was bare, and in ok condition, just about ok for the price we paid. The high ceilings were a bonus ans gave the impression of more space. Shower gel and soap was provided as stated with towels. The kitchenette appeared complete though we did not need it. However, the bedsprings and headboard were broken, not all windows were able to be covered and a movement sensitive light was just outside. We saw multiple mousetraps down throughout the building. Our shower was clogged and on the second day there was no heating or hot water. Despite swift responses from the customer care team (thank you) we are yet to hear from management with regard to compensation or refund.
