"We enjoyed our stay in a bus. The location is beautiful located just next to a fjeld, and it just looked stunning. We slept 4 in the bus, and used the shared toilets and showers. It is an easy short car ride from Reykjavik, and we also did a daytrip through the golden circle from here. The campsite has cats and chicken, and we enjoyed their “visits”. We spend two nights, and would probably feel it was too small for more days, but for a short stay, it was very nice. And it truly is a unique...

"Great home to stay in! It was very clean and had all necessary cooking supplies, bedding, towels, etc. The owners provided excellent details for locating and accessing the property. We found this rental when we had a change in our plans while already in Iceland and would've loved to stay here longer. Definitely on our list for another trip!"

"Muy limpia y muy bien situada. Tiene 2 habitaciones y una buhardilla en la parte superior: algo peligrosa para niños pequeños, pero divertida para niños a partir de los 8/9 años. Muy luminosa, buenas vistas y completamente equipada. El jakuzzi está fenomenal, no es de agua geotérmica (a mi me hubiera gustado mas, pero como digo es cuestión de gustos) y estaba muy limpio. El entorno invita a un paseo por el río truchero. Un poco justa para 6. Gracias a los anfritriones!!"

"The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The layout of the house is very nice, there were some toys and games for the kids to play with and a separate TV. "We were satisfied with this stay. The kids, 6-38, stayed in the larger house and we stayed in the smaller one. We thought the smaller house was closer to the large one, but it is a little bit down the road. The only comment I will make about the smaller house is that the parking area is up from the house and the path down is very rocky. If you have any mobility issues it would be difficult to traverse. It snowed while we were there and we had to use ice cleats to go up to the car. Overall though...

"Me and my boyfriend had a good stay at this property. It has parking for anyone hiring a car. The host was great, offering breakfast and lifts if needed. There was a language barrier but anyone who is not Spanish can just use google translate and it is easy enough. We had full use of his flat including the kitchen etc. Cheaper alternative to hotels and a nicer option than hostels. "
