"The cottage worked well for us, and Michael was very helpful - brought more spoons and water when needed etc. We liked the low key nature of Caye Caulker but having come from another Island where the children could play and swim freely, the pool at the cottage was too deep and coated in sharp concrete that caused grazes, and the only place to swim on the Island is the split where the music was so loud at the weekends- so I’d recommend for adults and backpackers but not really for children."

"When visiting Caye Caulker, take my advice, stay at the Lily Pad. Mike and Liliana make you feel like their personal guests. The comfy cabin is thoughtfully supplied with so many creature comforts such as a well stocked kitchen, filtered water and convenient toiletries like a hair dryer. From the moment we arrived, we felt like old friends coming back for a visit. The generous use of the complementary bikes is so convenient.
