"Right on the doorstep of the Yorkshire Dales sets an idyllic location for this friendly pub/ hotel. Very friendly welcome with exceptional hospitality. The room was clean and of a good size, a very comfortable stay and the staff could not be more helpful. This property is also very pet friendly. Highly recommended "

"I have a 3-5 on service. All the staff that I interacted with were very helpful and professional. However, the housekeeping was not good. I was only there for 2 days. On the first day, my room was not cleaned, despite housekeeping being right outside the room when I left for the day. On the second day, the room was cleaned but the amenities (tea, coffee, etc.) were not replenished. Clearly no quality checks by the housekeeping management."

"I stayed one night in a double room. The downstairs of this hotel is OK, I arrived early (2pm) and it took me a while to find someone to ask if I could check in early. I couldn't so went off for a walk round the town (which is v nice). My room (40) was small, tbe bedroom window opened about 6 inches (not ideal in a heatwave in a room with no aircon), the bathroom was tired, mouldy grout and a mouldy shower curtain. "I don't believe the Expedia site should offer this hotel at this time It does Otley and the hotel staff, both lovely, no favours. It was not a well placed room, it was overly hot without cooling, the bathroom although modern let itself down in the shower particularly. It did not have a restaurant nor kitchen in use and was severely understaffed. Our pre requests could not be met. I am sad to give a poor review, as the staff were wonderful.
