"On arrival could have done with better signage as to where to park as we ended up parking at Forbidden Corner. Also not easy to find Reception and when we did find there was no-one there for 10 mins. Room nice, dressing gown and slippers nice touch. Had evening meal in the bar which was ok and staff were attentive. Meals on the Sunday finished at 5 and bar closed which was inconvenient. We were informed no staff on site again until Wed. "I don't believe the Expedia site should offer this hotel at this time It does Otley and the hotel staff, both lovely, no favours. It was not a well placed room, it was overly hot without cooling, the bathroom although modern let itself down in the shower particularly. It did not have a restaurant nor kitchen in use and was severely understaffed. Our pre requests could not be met. I am sad to give a poor review, as the staff were wonderful. "Right on the doorstep of the Yorkshire Dales sets an idyllic location for this friendly pub/ hotel. Very friendly welcome with exceptional hospitality. "Very reasonable price but we struggled to find horizontal surfaces on which to place phones, wallets and glasses. A couple of small shelves here and there would be greatly appreciated.
