We had a perfect week in Dewi’s beautiful home in Drumguish. Dewi was really welcoming, friendly and responded quickly to all communication, before and during our stay. The house has everything you (and your dog!) could ever need and everything was spotlessly clean and of great quality. This part of the Cairngorms is our favourite place on Earth and it was a delight to spend this stay in Dewi’s place. We spent every morning with a cuppa, sitting at the picnic bench, watching all the birds and the resident red squirrel! When we arrived we were so pleased to see a few lovely treats left for us in the kitchen and the obvious effort made to welcome four legged friends was apparent! Comfy furniture, comfy beds and a great selection of kitchen/cooking items…just a brilliant, all round destination up in the Highlands!

Very pet friendly, the dogs love watching the squirrels and birds out of the window. We bought bird food to feed the birds and it’s worth it to see them all. Instructions in the cottage v clear. We have been before and the walks in the area are v good and it didn’t disappoint.

Lovely cottage. Very well equipped. Spotlessly clean. Beautiful setting with plenty of local walks. A number of great places to visit just a short drive away including the steam railway at Aviemore, the Wildlife Park and The Heritage Centre. Excellent communications with the hosts.

Schönes Haus in der Natur!

Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal in diesem Ferienhaus. Die Ausstattung ist perfekt. Mitten in der Natur und doch verkehrsgünstig gelegen.Hundespaziergänge und Wanderungen sind ab dem Haus möglich.Sehr empehlenswert!

A very nice place to chill out

The house is located in a very beautiful place. Very clean with all the facilities, spacious bedrooms and kitchen/ living room. We weren’t lucky to see all the wildlife except the birds and the company of the red squirrel. We spent a lovely week with our friends and we had the access to beautiful landscapes and day trips around the area. Highly recommended.”

Fatastic property in a relaxing location

Property was confortable and had everything you need, one of the best locations we have stayed for wildlife. Opened the curtains every morning to so red deer, red squirrels, spotted woodpecker and lots of birds. Lots of nice walking routes from the property as well. We will definitely be returning to this holiday let cannot rate this property highly enough, amazing time had by the whole family.

Super Scottish Holiday

Had a fantastic week long stay at Aonach, the cottage was superb! Was very clean, comfortable and had all we needed. The bike store was an added bonus. Communication with the owner was excellent. The location was great with plenty of walks and bike rides from the door. Saw red squirrels in the garden along with woodpeckers, siskins and many other birds. Even had night time visits from Badgers. I am sure we will be back soon.

Lovely weather for our stay at Aonach

Comfortable accommodation that met all our needs. Enjoyed visits from the patridge and his mate, squirrels, finches, woodpeckers, hares. Great location. Beautiful weather was a lovely bonus.

The kids want to move in!

Sublime

An absolute gem of a place if you like peace, biking endlessly from the door and fabulous wildlife. There’s plenty to do in the wider area, but we only got in our van once (paddle boarding on nearby loch Insh) with so much biking access to Glen Feshie and it’s surrounding area. The owner was incredibly responsive and great to deal with too. Already booked to return.

Fabulous stay

Lovely location with wildlife all around

Lovely location we saw squirrels, hares and large flocks of garden birds from the living room Nice walking from the door into forests and moorland. Bilberries, Raspberries, Lingonberry and crowberries ready for picking all around. Easy access by car to Highland wildlife park, Reindeer on Cairngorms great zip wires in Alvie estate.
