Incredible!

Jim and Carol were the best hosts anyone could ask for, and were available by phone and email for any questions. The unit was right on the beach and had direct access to the beach. The unit also had built-in connections to the resort, and the staff members helped coordinate vacation plans and make last-minute reservations. (Okay, so my husband and I are procrastinators, but everything turned out great!) The resort and hosts were absolutely incredible. I would recommend this unit to anyone who wants to have an amazing time in Maui!

The perfect unit for a special occasion!

I just want to start off by saying the hosts were top notch hosts in all aspects during our stay. The place was immaculate and clean / sanitized. Everything in the unit was in fantastic shape and condition. All the accommodations were spot on accurate. The recommendations for local places were very useful. We will always remember our stay as we picked this for our first time in Maui and couldn’t be happier. The unit had everything needed to make us settle in comfortably. The beach front view is epic!!! Not only that the hosts were 100% accessible to any questions we had. We will be back! Thank you!!!

Sunset Hideaway

This condo has everything you need to ensure a wonderful vacation. Breathtaking views from lanai and living room greet you each day. You are literally steps away from the water and hosts provide all the water toys and beach chairs so just bring your bathing suit. The beach is quiet and can feel like a private resort. Come to relax, play in the ocean and watch the sunset. Carol and Jim your hosts are easy to communicate with and make sure your stay is 5 star.

Maui Aloha Living!

I am not sure I can mention all the amazing things of this stay but I will try! First, the owners were amazing. The communication style made it feel like I was corresponding with my aunt and uncle. A heartwarming welcome basket awaited us upon arrival and instructions for everything was at our fingertips along with recommendations for dining and activities. The location was perfect. We are in our late forties and early fifties and loved that the location was at the end of the resorts yet a short drive to get to a busier area for drinks, lunch, dinner. Its also a convenient location to the airport - 15minutes! The condo was quiet and had everything we could possibly need - including a gravy boat! It was important to us, for our stay that we be on the ocean and we were! Having a ground floor condo made it feel like the ocean and beach were in our backyard and we could hear the waves in the bedroom which lulled you to sleep. I have only been home for a day and already trying to figure out when we can back. This location was perfect for what we needed as were Jim and Carol! Live Aloha!

Fantastic Oceanfront property - walk right out onto the sand

We had a great time staying here. The setting was ideal with the beach right outside your door. We were given a package of snacks, treats, and wine, which made us feel right at home. The location is great, just a short drive north of downtown Kihei. The pool and jacuzzi were also great.

FANTASTIC VACATION RENTAL

This Vacation Rental absolutely is Our Favorite! The Owners are Wonderful. The Property Location right on the Beach is Beautiful! The Pool, Sauna & Hot Tub Very Nice. Has Food/bar, Snorkel shop along with other shops on grounds to walk to very convenient. I Highly recommend this Fantastic Vacation Rental.

Small piece of paradise

Condo was very nice and you couldn’t beat the view. Hosts were very thoughtful and had a bottle of wine, and snacks there for us to enjoy. Would highly recommend!

Best VRBO accomodations in Kihei

Couldnt ask for a more beautiful and peaceful stay on Maui. You can walk on the beach for miles. Beachfront lanai, seconds to pristine sandy beach,fabulous hosts, unit offers more than you could possibly imagine. Great central location to all areas of the island. You will not be disappointed.

The owners have absolutely everything you need at this place, from nice little treats to welcome you to restaurant listings for you so you do not have to research them. If we travel back to Maui we will definitely stay here again.

Amazing Place

We come to the islands all the time and this is probably the best property we have ever rented! It was stocked with more than we needed. Jim and Carol were welcoming, attentive, and kind. You are literally 20 steps from the water. My wife and I had an incredible time here and would recommend this property to anyone wanting an amazing stay in Maui!

Great Place, Location and Host

The property was excellent, clean place, the AC worked in all rooms. You walk out on the patio and it is like 25 yards to the beach. You can hear the waves crashing at night from the TV room, but not the bedroom, so didn't keep us up at night. The property host was very responsive, which was a big plus. Nothing went wrong but had a few questions and they get right back to you. The location is great, a few minute walk and you are at a farmers market picking up the best tasting food ever!! If you are visiting Maui for the first time this is the best location if you want to try and do various things around the island. The harbor is a quick 6–7-minute drive for all those boat tours. Glad I found this place, it hit the spot.

never wanted to leave!

Such a beautiful location and property. Jim was very responsive and helpful any time I had a question. Check in and out was perfect . Everything one could want on vacation was available in the condo. And the snacks , wow!! We felt so comfortable and happy, truly did not want to leave. The sunrises and sunsets are stunning. I love Sugar Beach and now I love #131 at SBR too.

First Maui trip

The VRBO is amazing! It was extremely clean and well kept! It is so nice to stay at a place that people care about what they own. This location is a walk out with ocean view which was so beautiful to just walk right out the patio door and right to the ocean. The kitchen and amenities is fantastic. All the details of what they have is so nice instead of looking and trying to find all the stuff. Also having a washer and dryer in the VRBO is a huge seller for me! We will be back to this spot again! I highly recommend it.

My wife and I had a most enjoyable though briefed 5 night stay at #131. Jim’s and Carol’s #131 was so well stocked and appointed, was on the 1st floor, was near parking, and was - compared to our time share in Ka’anapali - quiet. And again compared to the highly congested road to and from Ka’anapali, the roads in the Kihei and Wailea areas were much easier to traverse. We were gratified with Jim’s and Carol’s attentiveness in answering our inquiries quickly and graciously. We will definitely plan on returning to #131. So high praises to the McCauleys!

Beautiful property, great location!

Condo was very nice, clean, and we loved the central location in Kihei. It was right on the water, with the beach access just a few steps away, including a shower to rinse off. Very well appointed, including beach equipment, washer/dryer, everything you could imagine in the kitchen, and plenty of supplies (paper products, ziplock bags, trash bags, etc), including incredible welcome baskets and treats in the refrigerator. Owners were very responsive and kind. We were provided with a full list of everything in the condo so that we knew what we needed to bring or buy. Owners also provided restaurant recommendations for the area. We would definitely stay here again!

The best getaway

This condo is beautiful and more well-stocked than any property I've ever stayed at. The water on the beach outside isn't the most blue (I was told due to a recent storm) but the sand was lovely and it was centrally located to be a great launching pad for everything else to do on the island. The hosts were amazing. I hope to stay here again!

Paradise in Kihei

Jim and Carol’s place was perfect. It’s right on the water where you can watch the sunset, take walks on the beach and see the whales. They were incredibly attentive and welcoming. They had a lovely note for my husband’s birthday and amazing gift baskets. The only bad thing is we only spent two nights there. It’s a great central location to get all over the island. We would love to come back here!

Wonderful Vacation!

This condo is definitely a home away from home! Jim and Carol are the most accommodating, responsive, thoughtful and gracious hosts. They made us feel very welcome as soon as we walked in! Everything that a guest could need is provided…we’ve never experienced such a well-stocked unit. And it is very clean. The beach is just steps away and the view from the lanai is amazing! The location is perfect and convenient to shopping, restaurants and fun! You will not regret staying at this condo and we will definitely be returning!

Sunsets, quiet, super close to fun!

10 stars! A lovely condo that is so well-equipped, it feels a home away from home. Although close to an important road and with a parking spot just yards from our door, it is soooo quiet! I very much appreciated how meticulously clean it is. And the view from the wall of windows and lanai! Especially at sunset. Wow. To top it off, you're steps from the long sands of the beach. The location is perfect for Kihei fun (we loved the beaches) and conveniences, as well as reasonable drives to West Maui, Up Country, the airport, and even the Road to Hana and the summit of Haleakala. (We experienced them all.) The hosts are among the most thoughtful we've encountered. We recommend this stay! Have fun! (And mahalo.)
