When we arrived at the room it was not what it was portrayed on Expedia. The pictures vs actual was very deceiving. Also there was mold all over the curtains. It took two days for the curtains to be replaced. On the first night, the power to the room went out. It’s Maui and hot with humidity. The host stated it was normal conditions for the island to loose power. No it was not as the entire hotel had power. It took 2 days for that to be corrected once the correction was made, the main power junction for the room was faulty. I was looking for some kind of compensation for the major inconvenience and nothing has happened. Only Expedia was gracious to give a small One Key Cash Credit. The host was very unreceptive on trying to give some compensation. Hopefully this gets to someone that will read and understand the frustration that myself and my family went through.
