The property itself is lovely and, on its own, would easily deserve a five-star review. Unfortunately, the experience was let down by management and communication issues.Arrival instructions weren’t provided through the booking app and instead relied on email and SMS, which didn’t work reliably. When we arrived after a long international trip, the entry code didn’t work. It took several phone calls and multiple replacement codes before we were finally able to get in.During the stay, we also had to call to get the correct Wi-Fi details and to locate bedding for the sofa bed. When sheets were eventually supplied, they turned out to be the wrong size. There were also a few maintenance and cleanliness issues, including a TV that wouldn’t connect to Wi-Fi, heavily stained carpet, and a used plaster found in one of the bedrooms.There was some confusion around vehicle registration as onsite management hadn’t been given our email address, resulting in a warning notice being left at the property.While these issues were acknowledged and compensation was provided, the overall stay was more stressful than it should have been and detracted from an otherwise great property.
