Food was excellent and staff were so cordial it beat all of my expectations. The windows of the room can open and the mechanisms to keep them close don't do a great job, so you hear ALL the noise coming from the street: every motorcycle going by, every honking car, dogs barking, all of it! "We had a lovely room and were very satisfied overall. The service was particularly noteworthy: Obtaining the inner permit, getting a SIM card, taxi = everything was taken care of for us. For us, it's clear that when we visit Leh, we'll stay at Nalanda."
