The hosts were very communicative and very helpful. They helped us plan our days on the island. They also had instructions on how to use different pieces of equipment around the house. The views from the windows are lovely but are equally rivaled by the walled garden from the dining table. We were so sad to checkout!"

"Great location to explore Skye. Views from the cottage were spectacular, was nice to have two sitting areas from which to enjoy them. House is very well equipped with everything we could’ve needed especially in the kitchen. Bedrooms well furnished too and very comfortable, blackout blinds were perfect for the early morning sun and having three bathrooms was a treat. Beds were comfy too. Our first visit to Skye and it didn’t disappoint!"

"We absolutely loved staying here. The house had everything we needed, stunning views and good location to get to the walks and sites we wanted to see. Great for small children with a cot and high chair available, even a stair gate at the top of stairs was very helpful! Everything clean and very comfortable for our 5 night stay. "The location was excellent but finding the property was hard. A small flag at the driveway entrance would help a lot. We loved sitting out at the fire pit in the evening the view is fantastic, and the ambiance memorable. The Aga stove needs to be on if you are going to cook, but does give off a lot of heat. We were 7 people and there was a shortage of small glasses and no small side plates which we would have liked. The tog rating for the beds were too much for the warm weather and an option to...

From the entertaining boat captain, Gus, to the modern decor of the cottage (with stunning views), this is the perfect destination for family/small-group gatherings or a quiet place to just unwind. I wish that I could have stayed longer and I hope to return again someday."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Malt House. It was a it is described on VRBO. We were a group of 4 and found the upstairs living space and the downstairs bedrooms/bathroom to work great. The Malt House is 5 minutes walking from Portree center. Try Antlers and Sea Breezes for dinner but make reservations. We had outstanding dinners at both restaurants. The Tour Skye, Best of Skye Day Tour was everything you would need to see the sights of the Isle of Syke. It's an incredible island!!!"

"We stayed in the Isle of Skye for 3 nights and Annie’s place was perfect. So beautiful and homey we immediately felt comfortable. The amenities for a family of four were certainly adequate and the grocery store was a 2 minute walk down the hill. We wanted or needed nothing else for a great stay. "Beautiful accommodation in a remote area with plenty of privacy. There’s only other two other apartments and the parking situation is ideal as well. We had a few run ins with some bugs in the bathroom but I guess that’s what happens when you’re in nature lol. Just 25 minutes from town. "
