"View is nice. Pool is nice. The apartment is pretty bare bones. Only sheets to cover yourself at night. Like 5 clothes hangers to share between all the rooms. The air conditioning unit in the living room didn’t cool, but the ones in the rooms could freeze you out. The chairs in the dinning area were pretty beat up. The guys at reception were friendly. "The property is not called New Modern Ocean View - very misleading for locating the complex. Local cab drivers or Uber drivers had difficulty finding it, the name of this property is HP Boutique Del Mar. The property is about two years old and is still going through growing pains.The property manager who has the office in the building speaks English and was a great help with issues we presented her with. Many times she went beyond her call of duty. We have encountered very few Panamanians who...

"Place is wonderful. Great view from condo and roof top pool. We had a leaky A/C and told the owners. It was fixed by the time we got back to the condo that same day. We had a great time with bars and restaurants right next store in the Westin. We rented a car that sat in the safe garage most of the time. Uber drivers are usually within 2 minutes for pick up. The only thing we could have used one more of is the fob to go up and down in the elevator. Thanks for the use of your great place. "

Facial recognition on the elevators was lacking, so I had to get help from security every time I returned from my outings. One night,I waited 21 minutes on the "PB" (lower level) because one of the security men took the only access card to shut down access to the different floors. "
