"We had a memorable experience at the cottage by the sea. The cottage was cute and cozy. The fireplace is so nice and keeps the whole home warm. The views were what blew me away with this place. "We loved our family time at Scimitar Ridge Ranch! Plenty of room to spread out for privacy as well as great spaces to congregate. We were charmed by the resident sheep and alpaca, and never tired of the gorgeous views. The location is both perfectly secluded and ideal for exploring the area. The Ranch was very clean, well stocked and comfortable, and the team was very responsive to our needs and questions. Highly recommend a visit to this beautiful retreat!"

"The units are either new or just renovated. Still has the new smell. Very clean and awesome setup! Super comfy beds. We have a family of four and it was perfect for us. Super convenient. Don’t let the “no parking spot” scare you. We always found a daytime spot right out front, and an overnight spot just a couple blocks away. We stayed four nights and had an amazing time! "

"We enjoyed our stay in this studio room (ADU). Hosts are friendly and helpful, the space was perfect for us. The room is very well laid out with attention to small details. Sitting on the deck in the evening and the hosts suggestion to spend a few hours at Sunset Beach using their beach chairs were the highlights. Also a nice walk to the Preserve for a stroll. "Cottage was as described except the bushes in the back yard have grown so the lawn is in the shade most of the day and you can only see the small part of the lagoon shown in the photo unless you walk down to the gate that says private property (to nextdoor), from where you can see the rest of the lagoon and the toilet blocks next to the ramp that the Sea Quest bioluminescence kayakers launch from.
