"My wife and I enjoyed our stay here! The room is basic but equipped with all the essentials (private entrance, private bathroom, kitchen sink, and fridge). It’s perfect for use as a home base while spending your days out and about. It is very close to a bus stop, about a 4 min walk, which gives easy connection to the rest of the city. The family is very quiet and we were not disturbed at all during our stay. "

"The property was clean and pretty much as advertised. Note there are not four queen size beds but 2. The cutlery could do with being changed too as it is cheap and not fit for purpose."

"Heel fijn huis. Parkeren voor de deur. Veel badkamers. Fijne tuin. Supermarkt dichtbij, bushalte voor de deur waar paar keer per uur een bus naar Edinburgh gaat in een half uurtje. Leuke dingen voor de kinderen in het dorp."

"It was a lovely stay. The house is spacious and enough for 5 people. We like the backyard and the kitchen mostly. We are the first guest but we liked it. Tram is exactly 13-15 min walk. Bus stop is also near by but not that frequent. On cleanliness washroom and cupboard can be little more but I am sure the host of this house is so good that he will take this point. Also I want to appreciate the host whose response was too quick. I was struggling with key to open and he advise me within a sec…....

"Great property! Beautiful house and a beautiful countryside. The owner Gray was very communicative and responded quickly to our needs. The game room was a popular room. A lot of places (restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets, and a movie theater) are a 5 minute drive. A note to renters: the building itself is actually three different rentals, so make sure you are going to the right front door. "

"If you want to explore Edinburgh this is a really great location. While compact, we were comfortable as a family of 5, and the kitchen was very well stocked, with some lovely personal touches. Station and supermarket both an easy walk. Very nice."

"Die Sauberkeit in der Küche (Töpfe nicht sauber, innen am Boden angebranntes). Es roch nach Katzen im Haus, für Allergiker bestimmt nicht so gut. Für uns zum Übernachten und frühstücken war es okay."

"Great communication with the owner. Enogh parking for two cars. House exceeded our expectations, everything spotless, much bigger than looks on the pictures. Great having extras like dishwasher tablets, tinfoil ect. The garden was great, we enjoyed the summerhouse too. Then just through the gate onto the beach. Just perfect. We definitely hope to return."

"Every person enjoys their own bedroom/bathroom. Nice sitting area with a functional kitchen. Owner provided many adapters for those who forgot. Easy walking to the Royal Mile and the Edinburgh Castle. Pretty quiet street - didn’t bother the persons in the front bedrooms. "
