Things are not always what they seem! You're Fired

I booked a room for my 80 year old parents to stay in after a party they we going to less than a mile down the road. The pictures looked great and I figured the $520 rate was relative to the pictures on the website, it looked perfect and I thought it looked NICE! Unfortunately, the pictures were from years ago after a complete renovation. My parents said it looked old and dirty inside and out. The room had one sheet on the bed and mold around the door. At 80 years old you do not have the same level of patience as most and my fathers frustrations clashed with the Host which made the situation worse. My mother tried to be nice because she said the host looked like a NUT and all he could do was talk about the artwork on the walls. He even told them that he did not know if he wanted them to stay there, as if they were not worthy of his hospitality. My father refused to stay in what he called a "Dump" so they drove home after the party and fired me as their travel agent. The host did say he would not refund the $520 fee for the night and he held true to his word after I called Hotels.com. I know the ratings appear to be good for Sea Street Inn but the pictures on the site are NOT what you should expect. In my father's infinite wisdom he suggested I go and stay in any place I book for them in the future IF he ever lets me book for them again... He is a peach and has the patience of a rattlesnake but he's my dad and I did it more for my mother!!! The host should be ashamed!

The Sea Street Inn run by the exceptional chef Adrian far exceeded our expectations. The inn has an artistic flair and is serenely comfortable. What will keep us coming back is the four course breakfast prepared by Adrian each morning. If you love fine food and relaxed comfort the Sea Street Inn in Hyannis should be your next Cape Cod destination.

Our recent one-night stay at Sea Street Inn was truly a delightful experience. The inn, managed by Adrian, exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere with its amazing interior design and art. Every corner of the inn is thoughtfully decorated, creating a charming and elegant ambiance that provided a refreshing escape from our everyday surroundings. The service was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, Adrian was attentive and friendly, ensuring that all our needs were met. Adrian, who is not only the property owner but also a chef prepared us amazing breakfast. The Inn is perfectly located with a walkable distance to the main street of Hyannis, and the beach. Overall, Sea Street Inn exceeded our expectations in every way. What a great find. Adrian is a unique host who cooks up the finest breakfasts you will have ever had. There are no choices but when he serves up the five course tasting menu you just go with the flow and trust him. He also made special dishes for my dairy and nut-free wife - not just leaving out offending ingredients but substituting them. Amazing stuff. The accommodation was also lovely with lots of great detail touches in the room; a photographic gallery downstairs of wonderful original prints and a mine of information and recommendations of where to go and help with booking restaurants and trips.

My wife and I recently returned from a trip to Cape Cod. The highlight is our trip was a stay at the Sea Street Inn. The Inn was truly a sensory experience, but what made the trip exceptional was the exquisite breakfasts.

What an incredible find! The Sea Street Inn was absolutely fantastic. Accommodations were terrific and the breakfast… a gourmand’s dream come true. Adrian really went out of his way to make us feel welcomed (including providing a corkscrew!) and his culinary treats, out of this world. We are definitely coming back!

A Perfect 10!

Sea Street Inn is FABULOUS! The owner personally greets and takes care of each guest during their stay. The breakfast is a multi-course meal that deserves a Michelin star. Rooms are excellent with great amenities. A perfect 10!

We had made plans for family so we were going to miss breakfast. Instead, we were welcomed w/ lunch to take along for the day instead. It was very nice. Bed could use an update but besides that a wonderful stay!

The Sea Street Inn is more than just a bed and breakfast. It’s an art gallery, a place to unwind, and a place feel welcomed. Chef/Proprietor Adrian serves gourmet breakfast and is a font of knowledge about the entire area. And a really awesome person. He made our stay outstanding and his advice made our subsequent Boston visit incredibly memorable. Can’t say enough good things about him and the Sea Street Inn!

My wife and I stayed here over 4th of July week. We been to all of the top rated resorts on the Cape and this is the first time I’ve felt compelled to write a review after a stay. Our experience at the Sea Street Inn was extraordinary. Ten out of ten. If you like luxury/modern rooms, fresh/cool vibe, awesome food, and GREAT hosts that elevate the experience than stop searching properties and book a stay now. There is tons to see and do in Hyannis but here the Inn is part of the attraction. Every single detail is meticulously perfected and coordinated to appeal to senses down to the music playlists, artwork, flowers, and food aromas that fill up the common spaces. Step off the property and you’re just a short walk from the ocean, the shops on Main Street, and the Kennedy compound in Hyannisport. And yet, you’ll be drawn back to the Inn. To say the breakfast is spectacular would be an understatement. Enjoy 4 courses of the best meal you’ll have all day, each presentation somehow better than next. Sea Street Inn at its proprietors are gems and THE best b&b experience that the Cape has to offer by a mile. We’ll be back again next year.
