"Loved staying at this cute cabin in a rain forest so close to the volcano. We planned our trip just right to see an eruption and got there in minutes! The nights were chilly but the big hot tub and fire place kept us warm. It had everything we needed for our 4 day stay. I would stay here again. "

"This place was amazing! So clean and SO creative. Lots of cute frog-themed touches. They definitely put heart in to developing this oasis. Definitely arrive in the afternoon if possible so you can enjoy the property. The waterfalls and creeks are gorgeous! Be sure to eat before you arrive or bring food, as nearby options are limited. "We could not have loved this place more! Wish we had stayed for the whole week. The location can’t be beat, basically right around the corner from the national park but feels a world away. The home is clean and very well appointed with everything we could have needed (and some lovely extras like the towel warmer!). The hot tub was so nice after long hikes in the park, especially while listening to the rain hit the roof of the covered lanai. I loved everything about our stay and hope to return....

"Great communication with the host. We really enjoyed the stay and the beautiful setting. The only recommendation I would make is to have the dehumidifier be self draining, as it got pretty damp unless we were able to empty it at least 3-4 times a day."

"A great deal and situated on Alicia drive south of the Kailua-Kona nightlife district. The place was clean and comfortable and very attractively priced. Definitely the Hawaiian Hale experience! The landlord was very nice and obviously invested in our having a pleasant stay. To access the unit younger to climb a stairwell - don't rent this unit if you are unable to handle stairwells or have small (mobile not babies!) children. Perfect for a couple!
