Great place close to Tunnels beach. The garden around the house was incredible. It was so well maintained. We enjoyed our stay and will be back for sure.

We spent 12 days at the Tiki Hut and it was one of our best rental experiences in Kauai. The privacy was perfect and the host struck exactly the right balance, available if we wanted anything, but never intrusive. The property itself was spotless and the grounds were beautiful. Being a 5-minute walk to what's arguably the best beach on the island was a huge plus.What really stood out was the thoughtfulness of how the place was so well stocked and nicely furnished. Everything you'd need for a day at the beach or a night cooking in was already there, and Toni left snacks, coffee, and wine to get us through our first day without a grocery run. Small touch, but it made a big difference after a long travel day. Also, really comfortable bed and great shower with good water pressure.The 2-person hot tub was a nice bonus, and in great working condition. That's rarer than it should be. Every other rental hot tub we've used has had some issue.We'd highly recommend this place without hesitation and can't wait to stay again. Thanks to Toni and Samson for the hospitality!Roger and Lynn

Beautiful place.

Very beautiful property with lovely gardens. Enjoyed the hot tub & Loved walking to tunnels beach. Our host Toni and her pup, Samson were great. Highly recommend staying here and hope to return again.

Magical Place!

Everything we could have imagined and more! Comfortable accommodations and lots of beach amenities (chairs, umbrella, cooler, etc) just a few minute stroll to our favorite beach on the island…we’ll definitely be back!

Great place!

Had a great time while staying at the Tiki Hut! Tunnels beach was even closer to the cottage than I previously thought - very short walk. Nearby areas such as Hanelei and Princeville are also a short drive and easily accessible by car. Great cottage and would love to stay again!

We had a lovely time at the Tiki Hut, which is equipped all all the basics, and then some. Toni and her side-kick Samson are wonderful hosts, and this is a very special spot.

The Tiki Hut is the perfect secluded slice of paradise for anyone looking for a quiet tropical beach getaway. Toni’s property and gardens are pristinely manicured for you to sink into island time and enjoy your stay on the beautiful island of Kauai. My wife and I truly enjoyed our extended stay at the property. It has all of the amenities someone would need, easy 5 min walk to tunnels beach for the best snorkeling on the island, and the best greeter/guard dog out there. We cannot wait to come back and visit!

Beautiful!!!

We loved our week at the Tiki Hut. A clean, cozy cottage with two outstanding lanais overlooking an amazing serene botanical garden back yard. Fantastic Tunnels beach a few minute walk, where we saw sea turtles, monk seals and more. Perfect location! Thank you Toni for a truly wonderful stay!

Our 9th trip to Kauai and this is the BEST place to stay if there’s only the 2 of you. Great Robes , hot tub, comfy bed, walk to tunnels, really well-stocked ( host even replaced Weber grill when I mentioned it could use some TLC! …. Now THAT’S being super responsive!) the garden and peaceful setting are unsurpassed. All beach supplies provided. Toni is just the loveliest host and example of true Aloha. Very hard to leave but we hope to be back, or at least toDream of this oasis in cold times at home. Thanks Toni and Samson the greeter-pup!

Exceeded our expectations! We enjoyed the cottage and surrounding gardens so much, we spent most of our time there. Great location with short walk to Tunnels Beach. Our host Toni gave us friendly and helpful information, making us feel very welcome. Best stay ever!

A true escape

The Tiki Hut sits in a stunningly beautiful and peaceful garden. A short walk to the beach. We went swimming there every day. Quiet and secluded location but a short drive into Hanalei.

Everything was idyllic: The cottage, the surrounding huge garden area, the location a couple hundred yards from Tunnels Beach, the beach toys and equipment available for our use, and lovely Samson, the house dog. Toni was great, too!

Most epic anniversary trip ever. My wife and I will be back to stay at the Tiki Hut again! pictures do do not do the place justice. And she is the best host ever! Thank you for an amazing stay

Absolutely amazing

We loved our stay. The garden surroundings were out of this world! I could go on and on about this topic alone… Toni and Samson made us feel so welcome. The tiki hut was spotless, and appointed with touches that made it feel like we were in a home rather than a rental. The location is perfect for a beach holiday, just 5-10 mins walk down a path to one of the best beaches on Kauai.

At the Tiki Hut you feel like you have really escaped from your ordinary life. The gardens are beautiful and tranquil, filled with birds, tropical flowers, green geckos and anoles. The living room lanai is a serene start to the day with morning coffee and the bedroom lanai and hot tub a perfect, relaxing bookend to each day. It is perfectly situated by Tunnels Beach near the end of the north shore road but close enough to Hanalei and Princeville for dinners out and exploring. The Tiki Hut has everything someone would need and more, for cooking, relaxing, hiking and beach days. I don’t want to go into detail so you can be as surprised as I was at Toni’s attention to every detail. Toni is a lovely person and has a genuine desire to make every visitor’s experience as perfect as possible. Her sweet dog Samson would greet us daily and spend relaxing times with us on the lanai. We are already scheduling our calendars to return next year.

Tiki Hut is paradise!

Tiki Hut exceeded our expectations! Best place to stay in Kauai! The accommodation's were top notch. Wine in the fridge, fresh fruit and flowers on the counter. The gardens are amazing! The walk to the beach was a quick walk. Anyone that stays here will be glad they booked the Tiki Hut…it is PARADISE.

A Must-See VRBO!

Overall, I rate everything a 10. Toni was absolutely the best host I have encountered at a VRBO. She wanted to make sure your stay was comfortable and that you had everything you needed for a perfect getaway. The location is safe, secure, beautiful, quiet and felt like you were living in a manicured jungle.
